UNIVERSAL to re-release out-of-print DVD's -10/06

Great news from Universal Studios that comes straight out of left field. The studio has announced an October promotion that will see a number of its out-of-print and collectible boxed sets hitting store shelves once again - some even with lower price points! Maybe there's still hope in seeing ultra-rare sets like "Jarhead," "Munich" and "United 93" one day as well without shelling out eBay prices.

Among the titles due on October 31st are Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Epic Series (Cylon Head, $59.98), Cinderella Man: 2-Disc Collector's Edition ($29.98), Jurassic Park & The Lost World Deluxe Edition ($69.98), The Monster Legacy DVD Gift Set (Dracula, Frankenstein, The Wolf Man + Mini-Busts, $49.98), Ray: 2-Disc Limited Edition ($29.98), Bob Hope: The Road Show Series ($19.98), Scarface Gift Set ("Scarface" 1932 + Money Clip, $34.98) and Van Helsing: Ultimate Edition ($29.98).

my copy has a scratch on disc 1 (it's a double-sided disc) and box was damaged, i need to get another copy... :( :( :(

Lots of worthy titles to be reproduced. Looking forward for the Van Helsing Ult ed and Cinderella Man CE (mine got lost for returning it to tower records for a replacement! :( ).

what's on disc two of Cinderella Man.  Is it worth double dipping if you want it for content value not collectible value?  I alredy got thye discounted Viva disc. ;D

Only one left in stock.... at Amazon, order soon daw.  what if wala na sa Universal...

yup, the movie is good, watched it last night with my wife and we liked it very much... :) :) :) this is $21.73 only at dvdempire, way cheaper than amazon... :) :) :)

i got my cinderella man at 35-40 plus shipping cost. order na lang from dvdempire for the price.

problem with this set is the fragile-built. you may receive a damaged one if improperly packed. also, the plastic holding the post cards may scratch the exposed surface of the disc. hope they revise the packaging itself.

i hope universal fix the murder she wrote box sets esp seasons 1, 2, 3. amazon reviews are poor; stop and skip daw. im planning to buy pa naman sana.  :(
