Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced an extended special edition of the Barry Levinson directed gangster flick Bugsy which stars Warren Beatty and Annette Bening. This new two-disc release will be available to own from the 3rd October, and should retail at around $24.96. Completely digitally remastered for the best possible quality picture and sound, the set will include 13 minutes of additional footage, and an all-new bonus disc including deleted scenes, “The Road to Damascus: The Reinvention of Bugsy Siegel” Documentary, filmographies, and a Bugsy Siegel “Screen Test” Video Montage.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has re-scheduled Barry Levinson's Bugsy: Extended Cut for release on December 12th.  Originally announced for release on October 3rd, the two-disc set will feature a digitally remastered anamorphic transfer (the film is 13 minutes longer than the theatrical version) along with "The Road to Damascus: The Reinvention of Bugsy Siegel", a new documentary featuring interviews with Barry Levinson, James Toback, Warren Beatty, Annette Bening, Ben Kingsley and Elliott Gould, deleted scenes, Bugsy Siegel "Screen Test" Video Montage and trailers.  Retail will be $24.96.
