That almost standard Viva/Disney/Fox pricing.  Php 299 during sale for titles that had been out around 6 months (sometime less).    It reveerts back to Php 450 or 550 after the sale.

At Php 450 it is still a good price for one of Disney's most adorable films in the last 20 years...

I agree with TEchdude. Actually, I was ready to buy it at its regular price of P550 at that time. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was at P299.

I agree also. My gf teases me that this is a girl film, but i don't care. Still, my fave animation. S soundtrack p lng sulit n tlaga.

Definitely, I think it's the music that ultimately pulls you to it.  Tarzan's music would come a close second, I think.

Viva has restocked this title but it is now in standard Amaray type casing, which will look better alongside other Disney DVDs but without the colorful embrossed artwork. 

Price is 299.  Part of Viva 3+1 promo.

Thanks. I actually bought this for the box. Meron na ako nung previously released na R3 digipack ng Little Mermaid 1 and 2.  ;D

Pero maganda din ang packaging nung individual na Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning. Naka-slip case kasi.

The Ariel Beginning slipcase looks good but seems to be oversized compared to the Amaray.  I wanted to buy that one but thought add 200 and you get the first two Little Mermaid plus a better box, so I, too ended up buying the boxed set even if I already have the first two as well...

I agree, Sir. The slipcase for Ariel's Begiining is thicker than the usual slipcases - like that of the Enchanted DVD minus the popouts, I guess. Like you, I also realized na mas sulit to pay for P750 for 3 titles than pay P550 for a single one. I'm not sure though kung 2-disc yung individual release ng Ariel's Beginning. However, following Viva's previous releases, it's most probably single disc.

Ariel's Beginning is one-disc lang talaga.  Maski R1, one disc lang...
