Battle 360

Over 500 minutes (divided into 10 eps) of documentary about the battles of the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise against the empire of Japan during WWII, and its legacy. Any WWII buff should enjoy the details and the stories but I just wished they used more actual footages, especially of some historical battles that are so popular that you can actually find footages in youtube, instead of too much (and not so impressive) CGI. But then the objective is to show a 360 degree view of how the events transpired so how else to accomplish that if not for CG.

Nothing special about the the sound quality as well as this BD is mainly a documentary - mostly clear narration and interviews of veterans. The bomb and canon explosions as well as aircraft engine sound were not that loud and boomy, but that was OK as such was obviously not the objective.

after watching X Men First Class, I did an X Men Trilogy Marathon

X Men Trilogy

PQ & SQ for X Men Trilogy are absolutely fantastic, with X Men 2 and The Last Stand having the best PQ among the three. SQ for all is just about identical and they all rock. Very happy to have the trilogy in my collection together with Wolverine. And I will wait for the First Class as it will be a fine addition as well.

How do I rate all the X Men movies based on my liking? Here, with #1 as most liked.
