The Prestige (2006)

4 out of 5

The first half of it has an image of obsession, insecurity, affairs, and a dirty picture behind the backstage of an illusionist. On the other hand, the second half has twists that leads to a very intriguing climax. Nolan made another engaging film that an audience needs to think more deeply as the plot goes on. A superbly well made suspense charge with Nolan's brilliance.

Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011)

5 out of 5

Mission Impossible for everybody in PG-13 with Brad Bird? How cool is that. As we all know J.J Abram's MI3 is cool and more action packed but Brad Bird's version is more smart, attractive, thrilling and has a lot of humor at the same time. Everything here is just gripping and fun. The execution is amazing, every scene, the cinematography on every character's involvement is not boring the whole time I'm watching it. It's more like the new Casino Royale version of Mission Impossible, its silent but smart and attractive. The most enjoyable mission impossible yet. Thanks to Brad Bird for a superb job of giving us another intelligent and maybe one of the best action adventure flick of this decade. A must watch and a must have favorite with no alcohol required! Awesometacular!

Inglourious Basterds (2009)

5 out of 5

A group of spies espionage squad taking out German SS during WWII. A silent and smart and gripping spy film at the outmost, now this is something. From the opening scenes to its amazing cinematography with a brilliant screenplay I became dazzled and amazed by Tarantino's vision at hand. If Pulp Fiction was so genius, now it has its brother. The humor and the color of each scene are brilliantly well made which brings a lot of fun and excitement to the table. Pitt, Waltz and Laurent bring their A+ performances as Tarantino makes history. A must watch, that will laugh you out in any single minute. No alcohol required.

Young Adult (2011)

Charlize Theron is being a messy, dark  and being so crazy. A woman chasing this ex bf on her old town which made her depression cause shes crazy in love with this guy Buddy Slade. Charlize is amazing in it. She is so awesome on her comeback performance, she is just being natural and wild at the same time on this very complicated role of a woman. Though the film is not being funny, but it tells a story of the dark side of a martyr woman that somebody could relate off. Amazing screenplay, amazing performances, and another "must see" Reitman film for young adults like us.

The Social Network (2010)

I find this one pretty amusing. Alright this tells the whole history of when and where the Facebook starts. Zuckerberg and his Co founder Saverin has this interesting history together at Harvard and Fincher digs the whole story through their personal lives. I thought this is interesting, with a bunch of young people wants to be billionaires by making a social networking site for teenagers and ends up banging hot chicks together, drugs and more scandals. Well for some it's more of a cliche but I think this is one of those films that will serve as an inspiration to those people who starts at nothing. Fincher does the most impressive job overall. The performances are top notch as well as the screenplay. Though this is not for everyone thinking the film has no heart at all, but if you just focus the depth to the whole plot. It is something. It's smart which has a lot of humor which needs multiple viewing for some.

Mission Impossible (1996)

De Palma's Mission Impossible was more of a suspense to me. Some parts of the film have this De Palma's trademark which really annoys me. It was meant to be an action spy film though on some cases, it reminds me of Rose Mary's Baby sort of. The scene when they stole a NEC data and download it through the disk, now that really caught my attention. Other than that, it's really so slow. The action scenes are way over the top sometimes. It was depressing and has a very weird pacing. Now I know why they have these ideas to make a MI sequel more entertaining.
