Just finished watching Blade II all I can say is WOW.
Picture quality is superb, and the audio is mind blowing, when I was watching the nightclub scene I felt like I was back at the Ministry Of Sound in London. This (and Blade) have some of the best audio I have ever heard on Blu-ray. Will watch Blade Trinity when we return from our bi-monthly trip to Bantayan. Too bade Trinity is the Theatrical cut.

The Hurt Locker

Pretty good PQ/AQ but I wasn't exactly blown away. Storywise, I found it a little boring in some parts but overall, it's okay. Worth watching.

Let The Right One In

"Best vampire movie ever". So reads the cover. Well, I'm not sure about that but I did love the movie. At least I sat through its entirety unlike The New Moon where I had to finish in installments ( pilit na pilit ). Yes, pretty interesting take on the vamp-human love affair. There are two audios available, the english dubbed and the original swedish. I started with the eng dub but it sounded weird so I switched to the orig swedish. I highly recommend the orig swedish. The last bloody scene was awesome! For vampire movie lovers, this one's right up your alley.

Video is superb. The 1080p works wonderfully during those bright night scenes. The audio is even more fabulous with the great soundtrack and eerie music.

A Few Good Men

I've seen this in all formats - VHS, Betamax, LD, DVD, and watched this so many times in HBO. And the BD experience is as good as it gets. With an all star cast led by Jack, Tom & Demi and superb supporting roles by Kevin & Kieffer how can you go wrong? The court room scenes with Jack are just terrific.

PQ, though it will not blow you away like Avatar or I-Robot, is spectacular. Black levels are dead on and flesh tones are so natural. SQ is nothing much as this is a dialogue driven film. At least you can crisply hear Jack blurt out his famous, "You can't handle the truth"

Love this movie. Love this more in BD. That's the truth!

Speaking of Vampire movies, I finally got round to watching Blade Trinity last night and WOW yet again. Great visuals and even greater dts HDMA audio. You were thrown right in the middle of the battles. Pity it wasn't the extended version but still great never the less. Ryan Reynolds was so good in this. Classic line when he encounters the vampire Pomeranian "f@ck me" and when he encounters the two vampire Rottweilers "f@ck me sideways" class..

movie: "case 39"

i simply love the twist.

.. i did miss a few heartbeat

movie: "book of eli"

i love the depth and the action scenes .... i did have to rerun the movie again and say "wtf...the twist was all there and i missed it"

movie: "alice in wonderland"

i was astounded by the cinematic ... that was it.

movie: "king kong"

great fight scene with the reptiles .... all the rest was boring

movie: "dante's inferno"

i kinda miss the non-manga artwork and so i love this.

movie: "gladiator extended cut"

i didn't realize that i was past my bedtime.......thats how involving it was.

Love this badass movie. Jessica Biel is H-O-T! Love it when she puts on music before doing battle. Dominic Purcell (of Prison Break) is a badass Dracula. I will watch this again in BD, when I get hold of one.
