Quantum of Solace

The BD provides much improved PQ and SQ. My first viewing in SD wasn't as memorable. So I'm happy to give it another chance in BD. The opening car chase scene is superb. Plus, a hot Gemma Arterton in a supporting role. Love this Bond film, gusto ko na sya ulit!

Superman Returns

Despite the not so good reviews about its PQ, I found SR to be a satisfying experience. I thought PQ was great, faithful to how the director intended it to be. Compared to the SD, this one's super indeed. And the movie itself is highly enjoyable that the family loves.

The Special Relationship

Mahilig sa politics ang Pinoys and some of the threads sa Big Talk are driving me insane already. This kind of movie should be a good intellectual and political exercise for many. Tony Blair was truly a persuasive talker. Dont know about the accuracy of the accounts though, but the best lesson learned I guess is that even the greatest and most powerful of men need friendship and good partner.

By the way, I'm sure you've noticed that the movie made mention of Manila as one of the places that Supes provided help. How I wish it was in the Quirino hostage situation!!

Sarah Connor Choronicles Season 2
Discs 2 & 3

After so-so episodes in Disc 1, finally the story and action kicked up in disc 2! Finally, it got me hooked and involved again with the series. Can't wait to finish this. Still a good looking BD with above average PQ. Love the glossy look that pops out from my screen. And Summer Glau is still the hottest cyborg of all time! Whew
