You've Got Mail - pretty nice pq and audio. I wish it could be better bec. this is one of my favs ;D

I just bought this.  My favorite romantic comedy.  Ganda ng dialog nito.

Hindi ko pa pinapanood yung BD, but I scanned a few minutes.

I compared it with the DVD, and there's a huge improvement on the BD.  Remastered talaga.  No DNR, no edge enhancement.

Congrats sir. Ya excellent movie, I really love Hanks and Ryan. They are an excellent love team. I think this was the last movie they worked together.

I agree that this bd blows away the dvd.

What a guy!  This is one awesome documentary, especially for fans of F1.  Absolutely incredible and again, what an absolutely amazing racer.

Shrek Forever After

I'm still not a Shrek fan until now but I think this final chapter is one of the strongest in the series with the first one being the best of course.  Better than 3 and 2, IMO.  Technically, this one's a winner!  PQ and SQ are demo quality.  For PQ, I had to calibrate settings of my plasma from "Normal" to "Cinema" because my wife and kids thought it was a li'l too bright ( normal view ).   And what do you know, I'm beginning to like the Cinema mode even for other movies.  Parang it's more natural and film like....

nice one, where did you buy this if you dont mind me asking? Also how was pq? :)

Only the newly added commentaries and interview scenes (not of Senna of course) were shot in high def.  The rest were taken from actual TV broadcast and Senna's home videos.  The master audiostream is DTS-HDMA but it tends to switch between very clear and strong sound in the HD scenes, to rather weak and kinda muffled real footages from the 80s and the 90s.

In any case, this one is not about PQ and SQ.  In my opinion, this has got to be one of the better biographical documentaries, full of touching moments, twists, drama, intrigue, heroism, patriotism, unmatched bravado and determination to win in any F1 course, and of course the final tragedy at Imola Circuit in the Spring 1994.   No story about Senna can be told without Alain Prost, and their bitter rivalry was well covered - probably still the best F1 rivalry story through its entire history.  It also highlighted how spiritual Senna was, although there were many skeptics given how overly aggressive he drove in the circuit.   A little bit of light scenes showing how his relationship with his last fiance seemed to have started added more charisma and humanity to his legend.   And for those who were too young to watch Senna actually perform, in my book, he still remains the best F1 driver under rainy conditions, and some of his exploits under very wet conditions were also shown.

This documentary/film was so captivating that I didnt even realize it was about 2 hours 40 mins long.  Only my complaining wife (because she wanted to watch something else that time) mentioned to me how long I had been stuck in front of the HDTV.

This BD is widely available in the EU and Japan.  Only the Portuguese dialogues have English subs, but that's not a problem since most of the dialogue is in English.
