Osombie (2012)Ratings: 1 out of 51 star for the effort. Definitely one of the early generic crap straight to dvd release this year. Lol for the acting by the way.
Kickboxer (1989)Ratings: 2 out of 5One of those early generic Van Damme films. It has all the laughable script and awful acting but Van Damme's charisma handles it very well. I didn't say it's the worst, though all those old school martial arts cover up with 80's old school music is a match.
Safe (2012)Ratings: 4 out of 5Now to all the critics who doubts Statham's film as the leading guy. I think this one proves to be his comeback film in a positive way. It's still has all the Statham's martial arts trade marks though story wise its better this time around. The tandem between Chan and Statham is impressive. The acting is lousy at times but the main thing is, I never get bored watching this film. Its action packed and by means its fully loaded in a right execution. Awesome film to buy on Blu-ray.
Sleepless Night (2012)Ratings: 4 out of 5From the cover of it, I was thinking this is as bad as it can get. Though I'm a little bit surprise bout its execution especially when the action heats up. The main protagonist struggles a lot in this film just to save his son. The main attraction that gets me up is the fighting scenes. It 's more realistic and well choreograph with all those shaky camera angles that heats up the action more. There might be some plot confusion. But thinking a well made French thriller bout a "father saves son" thing is humane enough for an action thriller like this.
Green Zone (2010)
Ratings: 3 out of 5Chasing, more Intel, and anomalies from the US government to the Iraq war. We get it, its war. From the look of this one, you may think of it as more of a propaganda rather than telling a good story. Matt Damon / Greengrass combination never really works without a good plot for those action scenes to fit in. Has the goods of execution but this one just failed to hit the spot as it is much more easily forgettable.
