I never really warmed up to this movie --- until I saw it in HD. Why the cult status still beats me but at least, the technical presentation of this BD is such topnotch quality, both PQ and SQ, that I'm happy to own it. I probably won't sit through it again sometime soon but I will definitely show this off to my friends as a fine example of how BD treats old films.

Some screen shots. Amazing video quality. From bluray.com : "Blade Runner has found its way to the Blu-ray format in pristine 1080P transferred from a newly minted 4K master. It's clear that a huge effort was made in cleaning up the film as the source looks as though it was created recently as opposed to twenty-five years ago."

Just finished Season 1 and 2 of the Downton Abbey. Thought this British teledrama would be boring but proved me wrong, Some moments are even touching me especially when Captain Matthew went missing during WWI but showed up unexpectedly much to the elation of the Lady Mary.
