HAPPY FEET

This was part of the 5 free mail-in rebate titles from BVHE which was a last minute replacement to ITALIAN JOB. I was initially devastated with this. I just popped the disc to tame my 2 y/o daughter and it turned out that it entertained me and my wife more. We even watched it again to appreciate it in full 5.1 glory since initially we saw it in night mode. The soundtrack ROCKS!!! The PQ superb! But the thing that tickled my fancy was the message of Marine Life Preservation from a PENGUIN' s point of view! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Pathfinder.

PQ was bad. $:-\$ There were a number of scenes which appeared over-enhanced. Static-like pixels in the dark scenes.

Incubus: Alive at Red Rocks - PQ is very good, comes w/ extra audio disc.

Pathfinder: Unrated - film grain is present esp. at the beginnning(hmm 300?) but PQ is sharp & full of details. This version has too much gore . . . sewing up own's wound has never been so efing believable

. . . galeng ng detail.

Rush Hour 3 - very good PQ & audio.

Alexander Revisited - The Final Cut

This cut ran for around 3 hours but it was plain awesome! The theatrical release was a far cry to this grandiose full epic!
A must-own.

The Rock (Bluray)

-very good audio and video transfer considering that its a 12 year old movie. I was just wondering how an SS retiree and a no-combat experienced FBI agent were able to neutralize a bunch of young & well trained hard core marines. Nevertheless, a good buy!

Downloadable films in 720p encode that are not (yet) released in BD (and HD DVD), how do they do that? What is their source? I watched Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones last night (puyat) in 720p mkv and they have ridiculously awesome PQ.

its from HD broadcasts same as those TV episodes, pero broadcast in HD
