Black Hawk Down - Just dawned on me how many marquee names starred in this awesome title. Even Mr. Fantastic and Legolas were supporting cast members as well I forgot...

Rambo

Another awesome demo movie for your 7.1 system!!!

7.1 DTS HD truly shines on this one -especially the British "Tallboy" bomb explosion and the furious gun battle during the movie's finale (blood, gore and flying limbs and heads aside).

The PQ does not disappoint as well (although some grains are present during dark scenes).

Don't forget to watch the special features. Lots of good stuff!! -Like why the famous Rambo knife was not used on this movie.

Also, the deleted scenes (at 1080p) which shows you more screen and dialogue time between Sarah and John.

Predator - ugh forget it, unless you're a predator addict like me. Pq is just avg. to low. Have spots of sharpness but overall dull
Independence day - nice, very nice pq. 4 to 41/2 star to me

Zodiac HDDVD. Man is this one loooong film. 158 mins 20 minutos na lang tatlong oras na halos. Very intriguing story - kakabitin lang pero Jake G. did a superb job in portraying the lead.

Reference material talaga. Highdef Digest was on the mark on this one when they scored it perfect on PQ @ 5 stars while 4 on AQ.

Eragon

-nevermind the story which looked like it was fastforwarded and cramped into a short movie. If I read the book this could’ve been a bomb. The movie was entertaining enough that it didn’t bore my daughter. The local DVD release as I remembered it really sucks i.e. packaging and PQ that I had to double dip on this one. I wasn’t impressed though with the SQ of this Bluray release with my nonHD receiver. PQ definitely was a big leap specially the vast green scenery and backgrounds. I will watch this again once my 705 arrives.
