No it does not. The Donner Cut will only be available on R3 with the 13 disc boxed set.

For Superman II: Special Edition, these are the disc contents:

Disc One: Feature Film, Producer Commentary, Trailer, 1 Deleted Scene

Disc Two: Vintage TV Specials: The Making of Superman II & Superman: 50th Anniversary; New Featurette: First Flight - The Fleischer Superman Series; 8 Superman cartoons.

Thanks for the info.  Since I'm not planning on getting the ultimate edition, I might just order the R1 Donner Cut.

Sure thing. If you're not in a rush to get a copy of this, you may want to wait a little bit, just to be sure it really doesn't come out. Warner's release flyers don't always include all titles they'll actually be releasing. I was surprised to see Carnivale Season 2, Dallas Season 5 and The Crow in shops yesterday, since they weren't listed in Warner's October 2006 flyer nor at PinoyDVD.biz.

Yeah there was a bit of a mix up in Warner re their sales memos so PinoyDVD.biz won't be getting the new titles until next week -- including West Wing Season 6. Finally.

Hate to have to confirm this but the Donner Cut is pretty unlikely at this point. Warner seems to be of the opinion that the local market won't double dip for the same film. I told them that if that's the case, then they probably should have just brought in the Donner Cut IMHO. Still, you never know...

wow, november will be heavy in the pocket, for me...other than "Ant Bully" and "Superman Returns", I also plan on buying some titles from other distributors like "Over the Hedge" and "POC: DMC (2-disc)"...yup, based on the newsletter I saw from Viva, the one pictured is a "POC: DMC (2-disc)"...plus, my orders from Amazon.com, "An Inconvenient Truth" and "Transformers: The Movie (2-disc)"...plus, the fact that I have yet to purchase "The Lake House"...OUCH...

the richard donner cut is the only reson for me to buy the superman II dvd, if not, i will wait for it in region3 or buy the region 1 version
