It's not yet on sale. They came up with a 1-disc edition (at least that's what the packaging says). Packaging and pricing is similar to Cars. Hmm, I wonder what Viva is trying to do... The P900 stocks have not yet been depleted, and now they come up with a single disc version. Trying to test the market?? Eventually they will all drop to P299 anyway.

Yeah. I just saw it again this morning. 550 is too much for a barebones release especially when we all know that the 2 disc ed will eventually drop to 299.

It's not really barebones.. It has an audio commentary and a gag reel according to the package.. The 2-Disc Edition at Video City SM North Edsa is down to P750.. Still too much, though..

I just hope they drop it to P299 before they show "POC 3: At World's End" this May 25th. This is one of the DVDs which has been testing my patience for quite some time now. Honestly, I would have bought the P550 if it were the 2-disc Collector's Edition.

The stocks have yet to be sold because we are all waiting for it to go on sale at P299.

not sure how much stock left for the 2 disc edition... all of the 4 Astro and Video City stores I went to for the past 3 days claim to have no more stocks of the 2 disc edition. Can anyone still see copies of this?

I hate to be a wet blanket but on the contrary, Viva might not include this title for sale yet at P299 come March of this year with POTC:At World's End just around the corner. You know, strike while the iron's hot to earn more.

I wasn't able to control myself. Just bought the 2 disc edition at 900. Mukhang depleted na rin stocks nila nung 2 disc ed kasi I looked everywhere for it and all that I saw was the 550 ed. Buti nalan meron pa sa SM Southmall

Yup, it seems the 2 disc editions are hard to find now... I bought the last copy at SM Bicutan's record bar at P750.

Buti ka pa you we're able to buy it at 750. I'm sure this will be one of those titles that will rarely be seen once it goes on sale at 299. Worse, we might not see it at all.

That was the same with the Part 1, tapos nakita rin nating nag-299.

It will just take longer than the others to put this dvd to SALE. But sure enough, it will happen.

Yup. It's been gone a long time then many Astros and Video City's suddenly sold it for P299. That's when I was able to get my copy!

POTC1 is available again at 450 sa NBS and Video City. Didn't hesitate to buy even if it was more expensive than the previous sale for 299. Pero wala na talaga nung 2 disc edition. Most probably this will appear again as a sale for 550 and the 1 disc edition will go down for 299.
