From the movie Meet Joe Black

Nothing Without Love
written by Ron Osborn, Jeff Reno, Kevin Wade, & Bo Goldman

Parrish: I know it's a cornball thing but love is passion, obsession, someone you can't live without. If you don't start with that, what are you going to end up with? I say fall head over heels. Find someone you can love like crazy and who'll love you the same way back. And how do you find him? Forget your head and listen to your heart. I'm not hearing any heart. Run the risk, if you get hurt, you'll come back. Because, the truth is there is no sense living your life without this. To make the journey and not fall deeply in love -- well, you haven't lived a life at all. You have to try. Because if you haven't tried, you haven't lived... Stay open. Who knows? Lightning could strike.   ;D

Jerry Maguire - You had me at hello....

Bridget Jones Diary - I love just as you are

A Walk to Remember - "God has bigger plans for me than I had for myself.  You were given to me because i was sick.  To help get through this.  You are my Angel."

Before Sunrise - Its good. [pause] When you talked earlier about after a few years, how a couple begin to hate each other, by anticipating their reactions, or getting tired of their mannerisms. I think it would be the opposite for me. I think I could really fall in love when I know everything about someone. The way he's gonna part his hair. Which shirt he's gonna wear that day. Knowing the exact story he'd tell in a given situation. I'm sure that's when I'd know I'm really in love. [they stop and stare for a while.]

Before Sunrise - I believe if there's any kind of G-d, it wouldn't be in any of us. Not you, or me... but just this little space in between. If there's any kind of magic in this world, it must be in the attempt of understanding someone, sharing something [sigh]. I know, its almost impossible to succeed, but... who cares, really? The answer must be in the attempt.

Evelyn -  The fundamental building block of our faith is not the Holy Family but the Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, when my mother died, my father brought us up on his own with only the Holy Spirit to guide him.  He used to say that the Holy Spirit is Love, does not the Holy Bible say, Faith, Hope, and Love, but the greatest of this is Love.  I’ve given up the drink.  I’ve worked the hours God sends.  I’ve become a better person, trying to fill myself with the Holy Spirit.  So I can bring up my kids surrounded by Love.  That’s all I can do, no Man can do more.

here' mine:

(1) You have come to fight as freeman, and freeman you are. What will you do without freedom? Will you fight? No, we will run and we will live. Alright, fight and you will die. Run, you'll live at least a while. And dying in your bed many years from now, will you be willing to trade all of this from this stage to that to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they can never take our FREDOOOMM!!!

(2) I know an order! You dont know what an order is Mr. Trask id show you but im too old, too tired and too f***ing blind. If I was a man five years ago, I'll take a flame thrower in here! I know an order who the hell you think your talking to? I've been around you know. There was a time I could see and i have seen boys like this, younger than this they arms torn out, their legs rip off. But there is nothing like a sight of an amputated spirit your building around here there is no prosthetic for that. You think you'll merely send this splendid foot soldier back home to Oregon but I say you are executing his soul! And why? because hes not a bad man. You hurt this boy, you gonna be bad bums a lot of you. And Harry, Jerry, Trent wherever you are out there, F**k you too!

I like this line --

"Deserve's got nothing to do with it." (from Unforgiven)

Here's another one from a more recent film. We had fun with this the other day:

"And I do the cha-cha like a sissy girl. I lika do the cha-cha." (Bruce Almighty)

can't believe that the most quoted movie of all time isn't here...

Excellent!

SCHWNINGGG!

If she were president she'd be Babe-raham Lincoln.

Turn it off, man! Turn it off! It's sucking my will to live!

Did you ever find Bugs Bunny attractive when he put on a dress and played a girl bunny?

Stacey: Happy Anniversary, Wayne! Look what I got you.
Wayne: a gun rack? I dont own a gun much less guns that would necessitate a gun rack.
Stacey: Wayne, if you're not careful, you're going to lose me.
Wayne: Shyeah, are you mental? We broke up 2 mos ago.

Squeeze me, I'm baking powder?

Anyway, moving on...

With all the lines quoted/repeated from both Wayne's World and Austin Powers, i  think Mike Myers has a rare talent for catchphrases, stupid or otherwise...

I like these two:
"I find your lack of faith disturbing" - Star Wars (Darth Vader)
"Your stunned silence is very reassuring" - Monster Inc.

I use these lines a lot.

My fave line from Bridges of Madison County:

"This kind of certainty comes but once in a lifetime"
