Wasn't she supposed to be there when Peter goes Kaboom?

I can't recall.  If that is so...Peter must have used Hiro's powers to go back in time and save her.  I don't remember a new ability of healing was introduced.

Tawny Cypress (Simone) revealed in an interview that she's still due to appear in a couple more episodes and hinted that another character is also scheduled to die. I hope it's Mohinder. Can a scientist be that naive and dense?

Great episode. I'm watching this again on Father's Day. Mukhang father din ang gumawa ng script, this is one of the most truthful depictions of paternal love I've seen in ages. Truthful as in accurate depiction of love, not truthful as in literally. Now, where's that boy of mine, Dada needs a hug. ;D

it will look right if you have a widescreen TV. they seem to be airing the widescreen broadcast copies.

Just got caught up to the current episode, doing a marathon starting last Saturday. It was rather slow in the middle episodes but it has since picked up again. I suppose the season finale will be the explosion/non-explosion of NY.

I was also thinking--given what we think is a limited number of them--how improbable it was that 2 superpowered individuals got to hook up by chance to produce the next generation of superbeings. Unless Evolution plays with loaded dice.

i agree with everyone. it was wonderfully written and i loved everything about "company man"... UNTIL the last part where he calls her "care bear". LOL. it just seemed way too saccharine-y for me. but hey, it works. i can imagine a few not-so-dry eyes during that last scene.

By far, the best series episode I have seen since X-Files' Clyde Bruckman's Last Repose.

...and that X-Files episode won an Emmy for writing and Peter Boyle's guest role. I wish Heroes' Company Man would at least get nominated for writing. (Just found out that the episode was written by Bryan Fuller, who also wrote episodes for Dead Like Me and Wonderfalls). HRG (Jack Coleman) has come a long way from Dynasty.

And I'm hoping this would also at least get noticed by critics. The script was quite adept in bridging flashbacks, which any writer will tell you is one of the worst plot devices you can use because it is easy to make it either cheesy or unintelligible. The acting was quite unexpected too. I know that Hayden Panetierre is a good actress but Jack Coleman surprised me... and Christopher is in this one too!

After that jaw dropping ending last week, this episode really kicked it up a notch. A great save since the three episodes prior to the last two were ho-hum affairs. I'm getting the feeling that the episodes are also being treated like comic book issues, where you have the boring fillers that actually signal something really good is about to happen in a future issue. This one is really for the Fan Boys.

Can someone please explain to me why they suddenly stopped caring about Eric Roberts' character near the end?

He re-appears all of a sudden, comes in with guns blazing then everything is cool again.  Maybe it all comes with trying to deliver too much in one episode but his latter parts came to me unnatural to the point of annoyance :(

Pre, you have to check out Greg Beeman's blog (http://gregbeeman.blogspot.com/), the show's director & producer. It's not your typical behind the scenes look. His views are often from a technical perspective but manages to be an enjoyable read. The latest post discusses Company Man in detail and includes an interview with the episode's editor.

Bitin!

I wonder if Peter can get Haitian man's powers or if Haitian man's powers can block Peter's (or am I not understanding HM's powers correctly?).

I wonder if Linderman has powers.

I wonder if Peter can use multiple powers at a time or he has to switch from one to another like Ultra Boy. ;D

BTW, would anyone know how many episodes are left?

From how the invisible man explained Peter's powers while he was training him, he can only use one ability at a time.
