A Heroes world tour was recently announced. The cast will be travelling to different countries to promote the series. Three of the countries that Hayden Panetierre mentioned were Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong. She said that those three were among the countries that they will surely visit. So near and yet so far -- I hope they decide to swing by Manila.

For those who've got torrent access, try to find the "Heroes Unmasked" featurette made by the BBC. It's just 13 minutes long and does not really offer much in terms of information but it's still fresh Heroes material to tide us over until the second season airs. You'll also see RPN9's logo appear in the featurette.

Apparently the BBC's Heroes Unmasked "making of" documentary is not a one-off. The second episode is now available online.

Sylar : Haven't I killed you before?
Peter : Didn't take.

I loved this exchange between the hero and the villain. Loved the ending as well.  It was simple but for me, it rocks !  :)

Variety reports that Kristin Bell, formerly known as Veronica Mars, is joining the cast of Heroes. Bell will be featured in a multi-episode arc during the series' second season, where her character will somehow be connected to Peter, Claire, and H.R.G.

By the way, I've seen both the Pilot that appeared a few months ago and the Pilot that was broadcast on TV -- there were a number of changes between the two, most notably in the scene where they saw the artist on the floor (the original pilot had a far more gruesome scene) and in the final scene between the two brothers.

The original pilot has a commentary on the DVD. As far as finding the artist/severed hand was concerned, they just reedited it since they realized that dealing with getting the hand reattached and the deficits/rehab would be a major issue in future episodes, since Isaac's ability to draw would be compromised. The final scene was completely reshot, however, to add more dramatic tension.

Oh, so that's why they changed it. I was also guessing as much. It will be hard to reconcile a "prophetic" painter with a missing hand. It was a cool concept though.

I didn't quite get that the scene was supposed to depict that Isaac's addiction was so bad that after handcuffing himself to the wall, he sawed off his own hand for a fix.

I'm sometimes slow that way.  :'(

I just noticed that  in Heroes,  one  character's powers are totally different from his/ her parents' powers regardless of DNA. Mica can talk to computers while his dad walks through walls and his mom is a schizo bad ass.
In comic books, a parent's powers is usually similar to his offspring's  like Green Lantern and Jade, Banshee and Siryn, the kids from Infinity Inc,etc.
Peter and Nathan Petrelli came from the same gene pool and their powers are totally different. Maybe the writers thought it would be boring if the characters had similar powers. I just thought that Claire should have at least inherited some powers from her parents.
Oh well, sabagay, yung mga anak naman ni Magneto ang layo rin ng powers sa kanya.

Less than 24 hours until the new season starts...  ;D

So are we really getting this locally on a Solar-affiliated channel on a same day/date scheme as they claimed, or will Philippine torrent downloading be at an all-time high tomorrow?

-little molly seems to have a nasty temper
- this really shouldnt be a surprise but the brothers live, flying man has grown a beard and exploding man is heavily scarred

My thoughts on the season two premiere?

Heroes, meet shark. Now jump!

After a lot of anticipation, I was very disappointed. Hopefully it's just the transition to the new season, and the show picks up steam for me by the next episode.

Of course it didn't help matters that they killed off my favorite guest character, and that Ali Larter wasn't in the episode at all.
