They shipped these two July 12 & 13.

The July 13 came it today, this is the fastest at 5 days!  :o
delivered by Royale Log to Ortigas address

special mention to the Royale Guy (didn't get his name) who waited for me to get to my office, i'll probably tip him on his next delivery (my July 12)  :)

Customs finally figured out my scheme!

I've been ordering items from Amazon UK at values under £50 for many, many years, and they never figured out that pounds was different from dollars... UNTIL TODAY.

So my £46 order was converted to US$ and then to Philippine pesos. In short, it came to $90-something, and I ended up paying Php 1500. What I found a bit ludicrous was that the 10% customs fee was added to the total amount (item, shipping, documentary stamps, etc.) before 12% VAT was charged again. It felt like I was paying taxes on my taxes.

I really can't complain, since I've gotten away with the sterling prices for many years, anyway. And 1500 as customs for 8 rare, not-on-R3 DVDs (Amazon UK has a huge sale with discs under £5) really isn't bad at all.

The big package (8 DVDs) probably caught their attention.

Yeah, lots of big bargains at Amazon.Uk with some titles going for a song (£2.99), that's cheaper than even Viva's Php 299 sale!!!

I am tempted to buy, but I have decided to stop buying online for awhile, since lots of my packages got lost (two were from Amazon.UK).  Post Office seems to be targeting my packages for pilferage...

My order from amazon, shipped last June 19 have not yet arrive. Can I inquire the status of my package sa Royale Logistics? Kung pwede, what number should I call?

Thanks.

8619232 - Royale's contact number

Check your e-mail (shipment) notification of Amazon if it bears the tracking code that starts with GM. If it is, then it will pass thru Royale... but then again, if your shipping address is not the Makati Business or Ortigas Business area, then Royale will post your package thru local post office.

Previously, I used to order from Amazon US but beginnning of this year all my orders were not delivered thru Royal Logistics even though my delivery address is Buendia near Mkati ave. I had to picked up my orders at Makati CPO. Luckily, its only a short jeepney ride to the CPO. Now I order from amazon UK due to better discounts, shorter delivery time, and compact packaging. My last order dispatched July 16 was received at Mkti CPO July 20 but I got the notice only July 25. Not bad since my orders from US arrive 4-wks on the average.

IMEX (AM Tracking#) as far as i know is connected to USPS.  Im my limited amazon experience, all packages sent thru IMEX will pass thru our local PO (in my case it's Pasig PO).

Unlike my preferred DHL Gobal Mail (GM tracking#), the local partner Royale Log will handle delivery to Ortigas & Makati

Just ordered few days ago from Amazon for 2 items. They splitted the shipping and guess what I've got... the dreaded AM tracking code! It seems that they do this everytime they split an order. It's what happened to me last time also. I immediately cancelled the other that they did not shipped yet. Baka ma-AM na naman! Kaasar! 300 Blu-Ray pa naman!

At last, already got my June 28 package from Makati PO today and custom charged me  P1,495 for three blu-ray discs  aside from the P35 custom fee :o  Total value of the items with shipping and insurance are included in their computation  ???   When I'm about to react in their computation, the custom official  invited me inside his room and negotiation takes place  :P I ended up paying P500 without receipt to this "HEPA" official.  :P

that was fast for an AM package  :)

just think of the $6 S&H as an insurance premium (for a superior quality product) in case of damage & loss.

the dvd i ordered was once upon a time in the west (2disc) which was priced at $5.99 before, but the price today went to $7.99. i should have rather ordered the R2 version from cd-wow because it is cheaper, the r2 packaging is much better, and shipping is free.

the title is very cheap considering that it is a great movie and a great edition for a dvd.

Ordered my first blu-ray disc from amazon, it was shipped last August 6 with that dreaded AM. Luckily, shipment is not that delayed because I just got it this morning.

As expected, notice lang, postmarked Aug. 21. I had to pick it up from the PO.
