I can vouch for JAC... very friendly and efficient service.  I suggest you ship your amazon orders to the new york office for faster shipping time.

Happy New Year to all!

I just checked a moment ago.. Packages from Amazon shipped to NY have taxes still.. So NJ pa rin tau..

I just remebered that, "back in the day," as long as your order was below $50 and you used the cheapest shipping option, Royale Logistics would deliver your Amazon order straight to your door.  So has this changed?

Delivery direct to your doorstep rarely happens nowadays. Normally, all items shipped thru Royale Logistics go directly to the Post Office of your Municipality...and depending on the item, you will be charged a customs fee.

Ordering From Amazon....
« Reply #1205 on: Apr 05, 2009 at 02:11 AM »
I just turned my old BDO savings account into a debit/atm account and will get my card by the end of this month. I was wondering can I use it to shop on Amazon.com. Also is debit and atm mean the same thing? I know I should asked first but had stuff on my mind. Thanks In Advance.

AFAIK, as long as it's a VISA or MASTERCARD, it should work with amazon. A debit card works just like a credit card. The only difference is that for debit cards, you should have funds in them. You can only charge up to how much you have deposited. And it should also work like an ATM card.
SARS!!!

Mukha nga ok ito.  Lot cheaper if you're willing to wait.

Bro Kung Hindi kasi taxable yun item mo or less than $50 ang value dapat P35 ang bayad storage fee yata yun tawag dun. Bro I suggest you use JAC para less hassle at maka iwas ka sa buwaya sa post office. ;D

Hi guys, question lang
First time ko kasi mag-Amazon, yung previous orders ko kasi were from Alibris, Tower, DVDasian, ebay. Never ako nagbayad ng tax sa post office for those orders and they were delivered directly to my house. Never ako naka-receive ng notice na I have to pick my items sa post office. Kapag amazon ba mas "takaw-pansin" ang packages (if you know what I mean) kaya napag-iinitan ng mga tao sa post office (based sa previous posts I read from this thread)?  I ordered two items (1 Blu and 1 CD).

sir ang pagkaalam ko pag more than $50 yung package don lang magkakaron ng tax. Then Php 35 babayaran for handling fee.

Hey guys,

I noticed Amazon is finally shipping Electronics, Video games and other selected items internationally. But as you would have guessed, it's expensive. I tried placing Final Fantasy XIII on my cart just to check how much the total shipping cost would be and here's the breakdown:

Items:         $59.99
Shipping & Handling:    $35.98
Pre-order Guarantee:    -$0.00
Promotion Applied:    -$0.00
Promotion Applied:    -$0.00

Total Before Tax:      $95.97
Estimated Tax:*      $0.00
Import Fees Deposit    $16.89

Order Total: $112.86

I don't think anyone will switch from JAC yet.  :P

Anyway, you can read more about it here: http://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=230659011
The shipping rates can be found here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=596188&#PriorityInternationalCourier

Why are concert blu-rays more expensive to ship? Normal movie blurays, EVEN the big special edition ones, costs only an additional 4$, concert blurays are up to another 8$.

I love amazon.com! I chose the cheapest shipping option and had my blu and cd shipped by February 2. Guess what? They arrived last Friday, February 12. Ten days lang! And they were not supposed to arrive until the 3rd of March as amazon has estimated.  :D They were also delivered directly to our house without me having to pay for any additional fees.  ;D

but yes, you are correct, Amazon has some of the best deals,
and you are always secured when buying and ordering from them.

Kind regards,
ABC
