Hi Guys,Ask ko lang po anung magandang speakers na pwedeng pang videoke at nasa magkanong budget ang kailangan?
OT lang po...i remember, a friend of mine used the lsi9 for videoke. i nearly banged my head on the floor upon knowing it....
I know someone using Dynaudio Countour 5.4 speakers purely for karaoke. Though he has a Focal Electra HT, and a Dynaudio Confidence HT. I've also seen an older B&W 802 hooked-up for karaoke use.
parang kilala ko yan. itago na lng natin siya sa pangalan na ivan r.
what brand/model of speakers have good balance of performance for both music and movies?thanks.
please specify your budget so that our members can suggest
Lokoloko ka Master Patrick. Straight CD-R King ang gamit ko. From turntable to TV. Actually safe na safe ang barongbarong namin dahil walang AC outlet. Puro USB port lang.
for speaker budget around 20-30k lang siguro.
Polk Audio RTi A3 fronts + Polk Audio RTi A4 or A6 centerA3+A6 will be slightly above your budget but the A3+A4 will be within.
pde ba gawing surround speaker ang mga frontspeaker bookshelves? thanks
Can anyone recommend me a good speaker/sub set for movies/gaming? Budget P20k max.I also live in a condo so I'm not really aiming for anything fantastic (that would also be expensive). Entry-level would be more than suitable, I think.
appropriate for your needs. better hurry though. http://www.pinoydvd.com/index.php/topic,143931.0.htmlamazon's price w/o standshttp://www.amazon.com/dp/B001202C44/ref=asc_df_B001202C441809347?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395093&creativeASIN=B001202C44
Oh, wow. Thanks for bringing this to my attention! Just contacted the seller.I have another question. The receiver I'm planning to get is 7.1, if/when I decide to add those two extras, what kind of speakers should I get? Should the brand be the same as the rest?
as much as possible it should be the same...not just for sound coherence but also aesthetics. but judging on how these speakers were marketed, it'll be hard to find couple of spare for surround duties. 7.1 is necessary for long rooms. but for most ht setups, 5.1 is more than enough. great to see you decided on the energies. i'm not related to the seller of the energies para clear lang.
Hmm, I guess I can hold off on that seeing as I won't be moving anytime soon. I've only had HTIBs (and not really the good ones at that) so this is my first time to dive into a full set-up. So I take it if I manage to get the speaker set and get a receiver that does DolbyHD/DTS-HD, I'd notice a huge improvement?
sounds like you know what you want. hd audio? huge improvement? mukhang isa kayo sa mga mabibiktima ng pdvd sa oplan zero contentment. i only suggested the energy takes kase kala ko maliit lang pwesto niyo. and you want to setup and forget. hehe. i personally would want bigger drivers for ht. in hobbies that involve spending, it is usually the hunt that's more enjoyable than the acquisition. kaya take your time, leon. btw i also can't hear the difference between hd audio and standard.

I totally agree with you. Bigger drivers for all the speakers that are capable of reproducing at least 50hz for the lows. It's also the story behind the hunt that makes the acquired gear very special.
yes sir. iba tlaga yung dating ng depth of larger drivers for impact.leon, i suggest you go for 2nd hand speakers. lake matitipid mo. for amps, you can go brand new because i've see a couple falter w/in a year.
Sir's. Ano magandang type ng speaker for movies? Bookshelves or floorstanders? Sabi nila mas maganda ang bookshelves? Ano basic differences nila?
Different speakers have different sonic characteristics. Best if you could audition them sa ating mga suking stores here at PDvd. They're more than willing to show to you.IMHO, i don't mind kung bookshelf or floorstander. Generally, there is no such thing as a speaker that's good for movies and music. They are all and the same. It would strongly depend on your preference and budget. For music or HT duties, i personally would prefer speakers that could go low with a very smooth frequency response as much as possible.
Im eyeing polk rti a3 speakers kac for 80% movie and 20% music.. And I'm torn between bookshelves and floorstanders.. I've read somewhere here in pdvd that bookshelves is good for movies than floorstanders. Do you think both bshelves and fstandes would generate an outstanding performance level in terms of SQ?
