2. rotel rcd-1070 cd players available within two weeks
   this is the acclaimed 18-bitter that stunned euro
   audiophiles.
3. sun audio SV-2A3 stereo single-ended amp. class A
   stereophile rec components. kit $1,600 assembled
   $1,800. one unit available.
4. antique sound lab. i'll be carrying selected models.
   available now: 2A3 se & 300B se power amps.
5. affordable tube equipment (mostly vintage). fully
   restored and retubed integrated amps and receivers
   from lafayette, knight, trio, etc. will be available this

I'm looking for at least an integrated amp, CD player, and cables for a friend's SF Concerto Home.  Current choices are Audio Analogue Puccini and MF A3 and Arcam CD72 or Rotel RCD971.

If the amp is interesting enough, I might get one for my (pre-Home) Concertino.  I may also be interested in headphone amps/headphones (currently just have a Senn 495).

for sale: power line conditioners/controllers
brand/model: pulizzi engg. inc. pc 874-c (120v), pc 874-f (220-240v)
features: emi/rfi filtering, overload protection, 3-mode spike/surge suppression,
time delay, etc. (see data sheets.
These are A-1 condition, used units I fitted with gage 10 ac cables and hospital grade plugs. Imho, they do the same job as much more expensive line conditioners do. 5000w
capable.

    Ito ba yung rack-mount type(i.e. like the PDF photo)?  Para kaseng hassle siya kung wala kang rack(i.e. hindi pang business use).

yes, it's rack-mountable but it's not so deep. in fact you can stash it away under or at the back of your av cabinet or rack or on a corner as long as you  have access to the power switch.
btw, i  also have a cheaper one: digital systems 874D
power controller/line conditioner. similar-looking, does the same job, except it doesn't have the auto power delay feature. price: P5,500.

I think this is an excellent way to sell audsiophile gear:  give specific model with specs and 3rd party REVIEWS.

A suggestion:  it'd also be very helpful to give some sort of indication what the gear mates well with in a system setting, sort of a system matching guide.  The Audiofile review sort of covers this by saying something like lean, detailed sounding as opposed to lush like tubes.

now available: YADEN servo automatic voltage regulators with 2 minutes power on delay. available
in 500, 1000 & 1500 watt models.
for the impatient, the 2 minute delay can be over-
ridden with a 5 sec delay which allows the servo motor to stabilize itself. the yaden is china-made. the build is
is very good and it uses precision 1% resistors in its
regulation and delay circuits. like i mentioned in my post on avr's, this is an audiophile's/videophile's ac voltage  
regulator. pls. pm or text me for price.

Bossing, paano yung warranty and parts niyan kapag nasira?

From the AVR thread you mentioned that,

stavol is still the best but the most expensive. com-
plaints on negative effects on sound will come only
from extreme high-end users due to their very revealing
systems (but still they use the avr's).

Does that mean, Stavols use "better" precision 1% resistors in its regulation and delay circuits?

Btw, would you happen to know how long is the delay for the Stavol 1000W AVR?

of course mr. biggs, 6 months warranty on repair and parts (conditional for the servo motor). just be sure
that the avr is not overworked (i.e. capacity is excee-
ded).
stavol don't use precision resistors like the new yaden
does. it's the "made in japan" tag that sets its price
way apart from the rest. of course we're always appalled by the japs' build quality and reliable parts; but the chinese's craftsmanship comes "frighteningly"
close to the japs' (we wouldn't be amazed if i say it is exceeded), and this china-made avr is an example.
btw, i didn't notice any power delay in the stavol avr's
i handled. not really sure if they have.

    If Stavols don't use precision resistors like the new Yadens, then would you know what it uses instead?  I'm a bit confused though, are you trying to say now that the Yadens can match and even exceed the Stavols (in terms of cleaner output for stereo music) assuming  same wattage ratings are used?  Basically, what makes you say that, "Stavol is still the best but the most expensive"?  

Is it because of:

1) your own subjective experience (which I highly respect by the way)?

2) the Stavols being "technologically superior" in terms of parts used, design, engineering, implementation, and overall quality?

3) other audiophiles that have extreme high-end equipment's subjective experiences?

P.S.
Regarding the Stavols being priced higher due to the fact that it is "made in Japan", I'm a believer of the addage, "You get what you pay for" and I'm wondering if this is true in this case.

mr. biggs,
with the fast rise in quality of china (mainland)-made
"anything" we can safely say in buying them; you get
much more than you pay for.
i didn't notice the resistors stavols were using but the build was excellent and the layout very neat while the old yadens were otherwise. i opened one of the just-arrived yadens and a lot has changed. build quality is excellent, the circuit board is now neatly laid out and
the parts quality excellent (1% metal film resistors),
all for P3000 (1000w) as compared to the stavols
P10000. both regulators impart a neutral sound on the system connected to them. the stavols' track record
has put it to the top (incl price) when talking about
avr's but we cheapskates keep on looking for good alternatives. for the value-for-money,  the yaden is an
excellent alternative.

    Your two cents are very much appreciated.  Just a follow-up, would using a Stavol or the new Yaden AVR basically negate the need for a power conditioner(like your Pulizzi or Digital Systems 874D)?  I mean, would that be kind of overkill in "practical" terms, since the AVR's already provide the protection and "conditioning"(to a certain extent that it makes the sound "neutral")?
