Why Kim Chiu should stay out of movies and TV
« on: Dec 26, 2006 at 02:38 PM »
Nestor Torre said it all about this over-hyped girl from Amoy, China!

"She has a hard time enunciating her lines. She’s too raw and untrained a performer to realize that acting is communication, so clarity of diction and utterance is of prime importance. In a number of scenes, we wince as we listen to Kim struggling to make herself understood, and failing much of the time."

Is this going to be similar to that Aubrey Miles phase we had to go through a couple of years ago?

Oh, thanks for the reminder. This time we'll pay closer attention to whether one person is replying to himself using different identities.

Let me present my argument:

She's hot.

So in conclusion, I move for her to stay.

Kim Chiu is just another marketing gimmick like Sandara Park. I don't hate her but it's so appaling to see people waste their money and be deceived over her.

I agree!

Besides, isn't it already obvious that in the entertainment industry, some people get paid for their looks and not for their acting prowess? Don't worry, give her a year or two and once she realizes she can't act, we'll be seeing her in the front pages of Maxim or FHM.
