The franchise that would never die! Quark Henares makes a double comeback aside from (Super Noypi) in one of the episodes this coming MMFF 2006.

Quark is directing Huwag Kang Lililingon, an untitled Rock and Roll movie, Shake Rattle and Roll 8 and Super Noypi. Isn't it lovery?

Quark isn't involved with SRR8 anymore. The rock and roll movie is called Rakenrol.

With all the money they spent on this movie, they can't even hire a good proofreader? I always burst out laughing everytime I see the word "suprises" in the trailer.

Yeah, I saw the trailer of SUPER NOYPI, its not really bad. I wonder why Quark hated that movie.

Maybe he was dictated by the Monteverdes to strictly follow their vision since Super Noypi is a Regal film.

Just saw, Topel Lee's Yaya, and I loved it, loved it, loved it!

Mike Tuveira did pretty good, too.

But the first segment is not even worth mentioning.

So coming in 20 minutes after the start of the movie won't be so bad.

The best episode was done by Topel Lee. Iza Calzado is the best aswang to come out in the SRR franchise since Irma Alegre.

I heard positive reviews of the new SRR from friends and family in Manila. I'll be definitely on the hunt for the DVD if it ever comes out.

Saw this with my wife, sister-in-laws and my 4yr old son.

Here's my son's reactions on each episode:
13th Floor --> Parang nanood lang ng TV/DVD. Hindi natakot, naawa pa sa mga characters.
Yaya --> Natakot kay yaya Cecile (Iza). Tinatakpan ang mata tapos nakayakap na lagi sa amin.
LRT --> Takot na takot. Umiiyak at nag-aaya nang umuwi

Yeah.......the second time with my nephew and niece instead of SUPER NOYPI. I used my deputy pass before it expire at the end of this year.

They were screaming on the 2nd and 3rd episodes.

SRR8 is definitely Regal's best offering in the recent MMFF. Face the facts, Super Noypi is a super bore while Mano Po 5 is a mockery of the Filipinos and the Chinese disguised with a love team being milked and milked to death.

SRR8 was entertaining, especially beginning with the 2nd episode. I think the 3 episode is the best and it's nice to see some government/authority conspiracies being used in Pinoy horror (as opposed to the supernatural).
