Do you mean no sound or no voice sound from the midrange? if totally no sound from the midrange, then busted driver or loose connection. If there is sound but voices are also coming out of the woofer, then this is normal, unless your speakers has been modified

lets make this simple.  is the midrange in the other pair working? if the one in the other pair is working then most probably the other one has a problem (most probably the voice coil).  If both midrange isn't working, check each of its connection to the crossover.  If the connection is ok then maybe both midrange has a problem.  The best way to find out is to bring it to someone who can diagnosed the problem and can make solution to it profesionally.

Just my two cents.

Take your speaker back to the dealer you purchased it from.  They will be in the best position to test your speaker and identify the problem.  If it is within warranty they might even fix it for free  :)

I believe Listening in Style is the country distributor for Yamaha - just in case you you cant get assistance from the dealer.

Just my 2 cents worth.

if you're speaker is still under warranty, i suggest that you bring it to the store you brought it or to the authorized dealer so they can repair/replace it.  But if it's not covered na by the warranty i suggest that you bring it to those who can troubleshoot/repair it neatly and as per orig specs.  At anypoint, it's your decision to make.

My two cents of thought
