Topic: Prima 32 inch Lcd TV

my dad was planning on buying this brand when he comes to china next week, 800USD daw ang price. hd/hdmi/widescreen na rin AFAIK (lahat ng lcd tv na 32 incher sa site nila ganun e), kaso ang problema yung warranty. sabi ko sa kanya pag na chambahan tayo nyan dad 800USD down the drain yan. 

kaya ngayon, ask ko lang, ano sa tingin nyo maganda gawin? dito na lang bumili? obviously walang hd/hdmi/widescreen available dito na 32 incher... pero may warranty naman. so far ang nakita kong swak sa budget ay yung sharp na 20incher hd/hdmi/widescreen for 30k and a sammy slimfit 29 incher hd/hdmi di nga lang widescreen for 40k sa gateway. help me out guys. thanks.

most lcd's now locally are 32 inch hd/hdmi/wide screen already, you should know that marketing-wise ppl, hd can refer to 720p,1080i and 1080p.

chances are the china prima model you saw is 720p and 1080i only.

im might be wrong.. but i dont think there is a tv that is 20 inch or 29 inch that is "hd" locally.. last i checked sammy slim fit didnt even have hdmi.. but maybe new models do.

that sammy 29 incher is hd already, saw a sticker "720p/1080i ready" or sumthin. but the thing is, fellow pinoyxboxers have bad experiences with this sammy... so the only real choice is the sharp. anyway, ill just browse thru the malls later. 

any additional input will be much much appreciated.

for a little more money go find a 32" LCD locally ..... kung matiyaga maghanap makakakuha ka around p40k to p50k ...... $800 + shipping + risk of damage during shipping ..... is not worth the tipid you will make on the purchase ..... siguro kung $500 to $600 pwede mo na ilaban

at p39K only ..... the seller only had 2 pcs ... buti nakakuha ako isa hehehehe

another good buy i think would be the Viewsonic 32" LCD it's selling around p45K to p52" prices depends on who you get it from i guess and kung me warranty or wala.

a toshiba 32" wl66es can be had for 48-50k cash. hi-def and 2 hdmi ports, with warranty

yeah it doesn't have HDMi .... only DVI and VGA ..... but i guess i can live without HDMI  ... i just don't feel the extra HDMI input to be an extra p10 to p15k .... when almost all specs are the same. but if you can find that toshiba for p48k ... that'll be a good deal as well lalo pa't me warranty
