MGM Home Entertainment will release the surprisingly good Rocky Balboa on March 20th. Sylvester Stallone wrote, directed and stars in this, the sixth film of the boxing series. In the wake of Adrian's death, the once-great Rocky agrees to an exhibition bout with current heavyweight champ Mason "The Line" Dixon (Antonio Tarver), who wants to fight the living legend to earn some respect. Will stepping into the ring one last time give Rocky's life the meaning it's been missing? The DVD will feature an anamorphic widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. Extras will include a commentary with Stallone, deleted scenes, an alternate ending, making-of featurettes, a featurette on the computer simulation, bloopers and trailers. Retail is $28.99. Also look for a Blu-ray Disc edition day-and-date with retail $38.99.

March seems to be the month where many of my favorites will come out on DVD.   A very expensive month, it seems, maybe even more than Christmas...

No matter how good this is, the series had never made a fan out of me... I might pass on buying this. I never had any DVDs of the series anyway...

March na pala dito sa Pinas palalabasin. As if marami pa kayang manunuod nito since as early as December kalat na mga pirated copies and sa March pa yun official DVD release. Watta no-no move.
