imho, if wendy did win, i think it would be because she actually got the most votes... at this point, i don't abs-cbn still sees her as a viable investment. they've already used her for all she's worth, i think (i.e. as the show's villain). having her as the big winner would be quite the hard sell.

i'm really scared for tomorrow's event. i just hope abs-cbn wises up and enforces good security.

hmm... i think i should also start sending votes for gee-ann instead of merely campaigning, hehe. i also haven't texted in since the balik-bahay scheme.

From what I've been hearing and reading, since bottled water, soda cans and video cameras are prohibited inside Araneta (maybe to prevent people from throwing stuff at Wendy) there is now a concerted effort to bring in lots of loose change, yun daw ang ibabato kay Wendy. I actually fear for her and for the hosts right now.

Why ‘Kuya’ loves being hated

MANILA, Philippines -- Believe it or not, the “Pinoy Big Brother” production team enjoys receiving hate mail.

“‘Big Brother’ thrives on talk and controversy,” said Lauren Dyogi, PBB director and business unit manager.
“In fact, Endemol has advised us to have the program talked about; [otherwise] it could mean people are
not interested and, therefore, not watching.”

Endemol Entertainment is the Dutch production outfit that created the “Big Brother” concept.

In a letter, one viewer said: “I [am] alarmed by the disgusting behavior [of one] female contestant. What’s
even more appalling is the nonchalant treatment ABS-CBN is giving it.”

Another one complained: “Since the first season, I have observed one-sided editing that favors certain housemates.
You can’t blame [viewers] if we think you are protecting a certain housemate [now]— as in, garapal talaga.”

All that signifies viewer involvement, said Dyogi. “In the hot seat this week is Wendy Valdez. A lot of viewers
disapprove of her reactions to certain situations. [Pero] pasalamat na rin kami dito.”

There’s talk that people behind the show are themselves sending the hate mail, to rekindle public interest.

Dyogi denied this. “I have bosses who tell me off when something is amiss,” he said. “We will not do anything
to tarnish the show’s or the network’s integrity.”

What the network did, he added, was to decide not to react to the hate mail. “Most of it was about Wendy.
If I defend her, people would say she’s my favorite. It’s damned if we do, and damned if we don’t. I could
understand where she’s coming from but I don’t necessarily agree with [what she does].”

On Saturday, the widely popular Nel Rapiz, not Valdez, was evicted from Kuya’s house. Dyogi offered this
explanation: “My assumption is that Wendy haters don’t necessarily vote for the other housemates. Personally,
I’m frustrated—I felt Nel was a strong contender. I guess his supporters became complacent.”

The director said that, while Rapiz got a record low of 3.75 votes, last Saturday’s turn-out was the season’s highest
so far, at 800,000 votes.

On Tuesday night, Valdez’s boyfriend, Bruce Quebral, got the boot. This prompted the network to release a statement
the following day to assure the public: “The production staff of PBB and the management of ABS-CBN do not, in any
way, interfere in the tabulation of the votes.”

The PBB Big Night will be held at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City, and will be aired live on the Kapamilya Network.

yup i think mickey and ge-ann sincerely didnt hear it or possibly heard a part of it but because they are positive people, they didnt even care to let it bother them. wendy on the other hand is full of negative energy and praning, hence the reaction. im 100% sure she heard it

Does Dyogi and his team really feel Wendy will still be marketable after all this? Just imagine how someone so hated by the masses will be able to sell toothpaste, snacks, etc... She just ruined her entire modelling career for PBB...

Is it possible that Dyogi gets a cut from Wendy's winnings bec he's the talent manager?

I'm still frustrated about not seeing some REAL action!

All I wanted to see is one lone kamatis being thrown to the b**ch -- but nothing! it could have been fun to see her being smack by that while in the midst of her poorfish stupid speech. "Alam ko gusto nyo ko sunugin ngayon, isa lang ibig sabihin kaya naging 3rd place ako...TENK U LORD"

Congratulations, Bea! I would've preferred Mickey to win, but Bea's win was cool as well--I've always liked her from the start because of her bubbly nature, and despite being repeatedly dissed by douchebags like Bruce, Wendy, Bodie, Maricris and Robert, she remained her perky self throughout, and her funny pose as the disco ball opened said it all.

But I refuse to believe that the b!tch was ahead of Gee-Ann in the votes--where did all those votes come from? At least she knows that most of the audience booed her, and her "win" will always be associated with the word "daya".

In retrospect, despite the balik-bahay twist, it was an entertaining season. Wendy DID make watching PBB interesting. Something tells me that she'll actually have a showbiz career. She can be the next Jean Garcia, Bella Flores or Odette Khan. After all, Filipinos are quite forgiving and have short memories.

LOL at the spoof of Jon Santos, Giselle Sanchez, Candy Pangilinan and...who was that? I actually watched it again after the show!

I kinda believe now that wendy bought some votes for herself, knowing the prices when she got out......she could do that right?? coz lumabas na sya, baka may pinag utangan pa.

And how did ABS prevent a Wendy win, which would be a PR nightmare for them?? They bought some votes for Mickey and Bea........naiwanan cguro si Gee-ann coz maybe, everybody believed na she can survive on her own......just my own theory folks.......
