thats the problem with some shops, they quote you low to keep you in the store without checking if they could deliver on their commitment...if they only know how difficult it is for us to look and wait...to look and wait..and wait. ;Dcongrats to those who are now happily watching their favorites with their new tvs!!!

Give the store some slack, they shopped on a Sunday, so Samsung offices would be closed then... and unlike the big retailers, they might not be able to store all these models in their warehouses... they are after all, 70-80k each... that's why they have to battle it out on lower price vis-a-vis the big retailers...

I have to agree. I was part of the group and the store was fair in dealing with us. I ordered to units and they didnt hesitate to give us a refund. Incidentally, I was the only one who did get the refund, but they didn't give me any problems in giving my money back considering that their head office is in Pampanga. Even though this happened, I would recommend buying from them again.

If only I could decide which model I am going to buy instead of the N71.

As of today the posted price is still the best deal i could find for the V200.
going out later in the day to look around some more, i'll keep you posted sir.

don't u guys think it would be a better idea to wait for the newer units? the bordeaux r81 etc etc.

so you (or we, ermm) can get the latest tech for our money, or the existing models will even be much cheaper with the onslaught of newer / shinier models

its only hdmi 1.2 not 1.3

i personally think its a question of budget.

the new models will most probably kick in at may or worst june.

samsung and respectfully i believe most other brands wont price their newer models at the same price as their out going models.

so the basically are you willing to spend more to get the newer model. if yes then go!!

if not.... well maybe you can wait at least for the may version of the samsung promo's they might have new for you

did you see the big spread of western in the inquirer earlier (friday).
they had the sony 26" bravia priced at 40k. (12 months 0% interest)

pretty tasty!

I think that's the first S series right? Wala ata HDMI. Pero sulit na yung price. Baka may bawas pa yan pag cash.

Go for at least 32" with HDMI but if HD movies is your future plan then you may want to consider 42" if budget permits

Yup thats what I really regret. I got a Samsung R71 32 inches. I wanted the 40 inches but at that time it cost around 189 thou. Man just cant afford it at the moment. I agree, If you guys have the money go for the bigger screens.

same sentiments here, if i had a higher budget i would have gotten an 40 or 42 inch also... alas.. budget takes precedence.. hay

Hello guys,
I bought a Samsung LA-32R71B here in KSA at a price of about P45t (SAR 3,600). Just want to know if its a good buy at that price?
Also, I tried connecting my laptop PC on this and MS windows seems to be working but when I play DIVX(avi format) movies in my laptop, it will not show in the LCD TV? I know the max resolution of LCD is 1366 x 768 but can DIVX movies run on this resolution? Guys appreciate your help pls...

bumibili lang din siya ng mga product at binebenta kaya pagnasira ang unit na binili sa
ambasador hindi sila nahg hohonor ng mga warranty

marami na nagrereklamo sa ambasador dahil dun sa pangit na service nila

mas maganda pa rin magpunta sa mga dealers around the metro

especially sa anson pasay road maganda bumili dun, lalo na kung sony ang binili nyo

am from out of town and i also have seen this sa sony site..kaso lang i was informed that promo lang daw ito coz the orig price daw is 99T and wala na raw ito sa inventory/phase-out/not available na...how true? coz this was not mentioned sa site ng sony!is this available sa mga appliance store dyan till now?
