well, there's several topics in here that talk about great deals on LCDs.  :)

but I guess the real question here is ... "what do you consider bagsak presyo?" I think almost everyone in the market for lcds is just waiting for the prices to hit that sweet spot (a.k.a yung amount na kaya mong bilhin  ;D )

With haggling, OK na ang mga presyo ngayon.  Now is a good time to buy an LCD.

Wait until Dec. 7.  It will be cheaper by that time.

If you wait until after Dec. 7, it will be even cheaper.

And if you continue waiting, the newer models will be better and prices will be lower.  The only problem is that you might never buy an LCD TV at all, because you know that the next model will always be better and cheaper.

LOL... this made me smile. :D

it's true though... you keep waiting and waiting ... in the long run you'll be missing out.

my advice is buy a flat panel when you feel the time is right (this is always different for everybody) and your budget permits it.

also... once you have made an informed choice and bought it ... stop looking muna. at least for the next few months or so... there's no sense feeling bad about your purchase when the new models come out. enjoy your new tech toy in the meantime. :)

hello all .... i'm new here .... i just bought a CHIMEI 32" LCD @ p39K only mura na po di ba ?? only drawback i see is it has no HDMI input .... but has DVI-HDCP w/c i'm not so sure is good as it doesn't come with a DVI to HDMI cable .... it's got component inputs as well

http://www.chimei.com.tw/en/product_list.asp?mainclassid=3&subclassid=4&model_no=6#

ask ko lang should i buy a DVD player with HDMI out ? i've never ever bought a DVD player as i've always been using my PC as my player/TV as well ...... but now that we've moved to a larger apartment we've decided to go a bit overboard for a home theater set-up

so right now i've already got the LCD .... sony MUTEKI sound system .... only missing thing i think is a good DVD player that can work with DVI-HDCP ???

thanks for any advice !!!

i got it from a guy posting on ebay.ph hehehehe tsamba talga i think ..... ligaw na import lang ata yan .... because he mostly does business on cellphones ata or smaller gadgets PS3 etc etc  ...... anyway he had only 2 units when i was there. although i think he might try bringing in some more.

right now i don't think it really is a good buy to look for 1080p capable TV as there's practically no media available yet .... not for a little while longer ..... also 1080p would be much appreciated on larger screens 40" and up .... if you can afford those.

so i'm more than happy with this 1080i capable 32" LCD ... only drawback no HDMI connection only DVI ... fortunately the xbox360 fits so well with it using the HD VGA cable pq is stunning

if your gonna go for 37" i think it better be a 1080p capable one with HDMI otherwise the huge price difference is probably not worth it
