ang layo ng build quality nito and the BR series.

this has gotta be 10 times better in build quality ...

I can't find the seams, it's smaller but heavier (real wood veneer), it's edges are smooth and rounded (nasanay yata ako sa 90degree corners).  it's very solid, definitely worth the extra dough over the BR.

the Walnut color on this one is darker (I prefer this one, parang mas bagay sa philippines yung darker shade, kasi dark din yung mga wood colors natin)

Which one do you think sound better, Q1 or RS-1?

walnut talaga siya, yung rosenut is redder.  see the table it's on, that's walnut.  matching talaga!  ;D

Sorry Mike...akala ko rosenut...luma na ksi yung crt monitor ko d2 sa office kaya malabo..ayaw pa ksi palitan ng boss namin ng lcd hehehe... ;D

I think maganda yung RS1 kasi balanced yung sound niya, meaning: pantay pantay yung highs mids and lows niya.  unlike yung Polks ko na malakas yung highs, and yung KEF na malakas yung mids.

I'm guessing masarap makinig ng music kahit matagal, parang "silk on your ass" (quote from the matrix).

naghahanap nga ako ngayon kung saan ko puwede gamitin to, just to have an excuse of getting it.

what amp did you use?? it will always depend on the other gears "before" we can say na mas malakas and mids, malakas ang highs, etc., IMHO it is all about system matching, thanks!

actually, if MA can just "improve" on the speaker terminals, would have looked better, let's say just like the Dali Ikon series, IMHO, thanks! D:

I played them on these: Harman Kardon 3480 stereo receiver, Yamaha Rx-v 640, and the Behringer A500 (may gain control yung A500 - puwedeng pang volume) at home.
