Sprague NOS caps

Am itching to try some of these caps for my tweeter crossover. Anyone try these for crossovers or dc-blocking?

I wonder how these things would perform on the LCR meter hehehe ...

try SPIN electronics - meron pa naka-display doon ;D

Buying some from markmlists. Iba talaga daw tumunog ang Sprague Vitamin Q. Ano kaya meron siya?

 nagkataon lang na meron akong tirang ilang piraso. Sound-wise no comment. I also do not understand why a few internet sellers (U.S.) charge over $20 per piece sa 0.xx uf value palang
( http://www.vacuumtube.com/capacito.htm ).  Also, in terms of tolerance , modern caps such as auricaps and mundorf, etc are superior.

pa o.t. instead of starting new topic tnx :D

im now using Siemens caps.47uf/630v (from gerry) replacing the auricaps. the siemens cap is as tall as "D"battery and 3/4 of "D" battery width, dwarfing the auricap1uf. metal on the outside & oil inside daw. initial impression- napa-SiegHeil ako! olrayt sa ok! ayos pa rin ang oldies but goodies caps ;D

aside from the performance, the price is much cheaper than the auricap! ;D

Haven't tested these 100nF caps fully. Only tested them using LCR meter. Compared them with MKP caps. The only noticeable difference I am seeing is that it is so much easier to read values on these as compared to MKPs - if the Sprague varies by eg 1nF the MKPs vary by twice. So when you look at the meter the decimal points with Sprague caps fluctuates less widely than MKPs at any given frequency.
