Hi Yab/Darell,

Your participation on this thread is reassuring. As such, I have a few questions regarding RATES & Procedures (just like everyone else). Maybe you do not have to answer your Qs below, just pass on ready FAQs that you may have and I'll just ask again if there are specifics unanswered.

Anyway, based on http://johnnyairplus.com/faq/ regarding CONSOLIDATION
JAC Plus does not consolidate packages into a single box. We offer discounts on multiple packages in a single flight

So, if I order from Amazon and Target, each order may arrive on different dates - let say, maximum of 7 days interval, I understand that JAC will have to treat each one independently since JAC doesn't consolidate. And if both packages are forwarded here in one flight, I'll get a discount, right? Is the discount that significant - or better (cheaper) pa rin to cram as much items in one order so we only treat it as one shipment?

My Qs:
1. How will we communicate regarding multiple packages - so I can avail the discount on "one flight"?
2. How many days max will you keep our packages for them to be considered as "one flight"?

Next, the rates are the real questions for many... Specific to my needs, if boxes of LEGO puzzles in one shipment totals to 40in x 30in x 8in at probably 7lbs, what's the estimated cost to ship it to Megamall? Likewise, if a 2nd package of the same size/weight comes-in, what's the same-flight discount?

Here's how I understand it.

1. If your packages arrive in the same week, that's "one flight" or 1 handling fee.
2. L x W x H / 166 = Shipping wt. The Lego mentioned will have 58 lbs shipping wt. They always round off to the next lb. ex. 2.01 lbs will be 3 lbs.

I can try to search what the rate is for lbs to USD or PHP and how much this translates the 58lbs... Baka alam mo lang - prevailing or public rate ng lbs to usd - php?

1. Please be advise that we don’t hold packages in US as we received a lot of parcels every day. Items received in US within a week can avail the discount of single handling fee .
2. Please be advise that we consider the actual wt. and volumetric wt. of your items and we charge whichever is greater. To get the volumetric wt. L x W x H /166
3. Once cargo arrives here in Manila, prevailing IATA rate are used.
4. You may send us the link of the item you want to purchase so we may give you an estimated freight charge.

Hi Derell. I use the NY office for my packages. What do I need to change in my label so I can send stuff via sea freight para ma mura? How much is sea freight and do you consolidate and pack stuff to fit 1 balikbayan box? Plan to buy kasi some plates and tea cups in Amazon and other US retailers. Want to use sea freight para ma mura vs air kasi mabigat.

I just want to ask if the minimum weight for pinoydvd members is now 2lbs? I picked my 1lb package yesterday at your megamall branch and the staff told me that there's a new memo that the minimum weight for pinoydvd members are now 2lbs. I use your service for many years but this is the first time I charged for 2lbs for 1lb package. This is the only benefit we enjoy as pinoydvd members to use JAC. Please clarify.

I shared the sentiments of the last poster (kenobi). I got my packages yesterday and was informed that about a week has passed since they started implementing 2lbs minimum package charge even if you are a pdvd member. They should have announced it months before so we can be prepared. Or, they could have emailed their regular customers that beginning such date JAC will be charging 2lbs minimum. It's bad enough that amazon.com split my packages into two, now I paid almost double for each!
