Hi,
Been awhile since I last visited this forum. I would like to get your opinion about the above LCD monitor before I get one. With a club membership card the price would go down to 14,300 php. I intend to use it in our kitchen to replace my 14" no cable TV. I went to their store last Monday and had them play a "dvd" of MI-III. I didn't see any ghost or delay attributed with LCD tv having a 16ms response time. Is this worth the price?

i think it's okay lalo't me 3 months warranty pa yata sila. 16ms is good enough for typical video and TV ...... but is "marginal" for gaming ..... older model LVDTVs are even slower up to 25ms. so 16ms is just fine.

here's another similar 26" LCD monitor LG brand and the seller claims it at 8ms and tested with gaming but a bit more expensive at p21K

Yup i saw that post also in tipidpc, medyo mahal nga dun and i think isa lang ang pinagkukuhanan nila, akala ko same person lang yung nagbebenta... Anyway, do you think oks tong monitor na 'to sa home theater, sa dvd player ko kasi sya ikakabit e, what do you think?

buy a copy of PC BUYER GUIDE magazine .... it's an advertisement i think of the distro of MAG monitors .... at wala namang nakalagay sa page na it's just a promo .... so i'm assuming those are Suggested Retail Prices .... pwede pa kaya matawaran pa kung cash

mahirap ata hanapin yan cable na yan pero meron.

In my opinion lang

you're better off getting the 26" MAG LCDTV @ 30k ...... bnew and most likely covers a 1yr warranty plus TV na talga ..... the one in open pinoy requires you to buy a separate tuner that has vga input or use your PC as the source. kung nagtitipid ka talga oks na yan sa openpinoy mura talga.

Actually medyo nagdalawang isip nga ako bigla nung nakita ko yung Mag LCDs, hassle din and malakas sa kuryente kung gagamitan ko pa ng pc if ever gagamitin ko sya for TV viewing only yung lcd sa openpinoy... Konting ipon pa siguro at maraming pagtitimpi, hehehe

meron naman nabibili na stand alone TV tuner low 5watts lang that you can use with the LCD ...... only difference really is ....

1.) Pogi syempre yung LCDTV at wala na hassle pa .... push one button and your watching TV na ...... iisang saksakan.... sa LCD+TV tuner setup yun monitor me saksakan yun TV tuner me sarili pang saksakan .

2.) connectivity .... LCDTV mostlikelu has VGA/DVI , HDMI , a barrage of component video and AV connectivity. ....... as opposed to TV tuner has only a/v in and vga in.

3.) syempre POGI talga LCDTV hehehehehehehehe longer warranty ... newer LCD model/panel .... di pa gamit.
