Cheap but durable player that can play DIVX?
« on: Mar 23, 2007 at 02:37 PM »
Could anyone recommend a very durable branded dvd player that isn't expensive?  It's for work, not for personal home theatre use.  Durability is more important than extra features.  It has to have the ability to play DIVX files.

I have used Philips DVP642K for almost 3 years, haven't conked out yet on me but will be replacing it with Pioneer 696AVS soon (lagi kasi kinukuha sa kwarto ko at nilalabas sa sala heheh  ;D).  I'm not sure if it's still available though.

Not cheap, but definitely durable...definitely branded... I use Pioneer DV490S to play DivX
about P6000.
