Genius Products has sent over some artwork for an unrated edition of Hannibal Rising which stars Aaron Thomas as the young Hannibal Lecter. The disc has yet to be officially announced I'm afraid, but we are able to confirm that the film will be available to own from the 5th June. We'll bring you further details just as soon as Genius announces the title. Stay tuned.

i'm sure there'll be a boxset of all the Hannibal movies, but i don't know when will his movies stop    sequels and prequels keep popping up

Maybe if they'll decide to kill Lecter (how morbid!) then it will be the end of a sequel... but not of another prequel.    I haven't watched this movie though when it was shown locally, is it that good? Or it's not good that's why it merits an unrated version of DVD release?

I wouldn't say this movie was entirely bad. Gong Li is one of the plus factors of this film. But compared to the other movies of the series, it's in the bottom.

As for the movie, it's not the prequel that i've come to expect, but i did enjoy it for the eye candy.

You're correct. I guess DVD Active went ultra-literal on that, since Aaron Thomas is the kiddie Hannibal Lecter in that film.
