The series finale was a disappointment but I'm glad that we will see Dexter again for one more season.

New Blood served its purpose, a better ending that the fans were looking for in season 8.

Never saw that ending coming

watching the final episode, I was wondering when would the next season be aired. Maybe, there would be a "Harrison - a new hope"

with Dexter in the background guiding Harrison

I actually see the potential for another season, though I don't see it happening in the sticks. If it IS happening, it makes sense to have it set in NYC, since it's the nearest major city to the current setting.
