the cash official price of the v200a from sony is 85k.

70k is already a good deal, less even better... though i personally would choose some other models

Why do you have to stay away? It's a multi-system, this mean it can play NTSC, PAL, etc. Singapore is using NTSC similar to the Philippines

was able to audition the new Bordeaux and Sonoma series last Saturday. I almost went home with one (pinigilan lang ako nung wife ko) they offer 20% off SRP and 18 mths zero interest. what made me not buy at that time also is when I auditioned it side by side with the new Sharp (Matrix Reloaded) i noticed the difference dun sa 6 ms response time nung Sharp vs 8 ms ng Samsung.

Kasi I was seriously considering the Sharp Aquos which I felt was better in fast moving scenes and when all of a sudded a rep from Samsung offered me this tempting deal. 20% disc plus 18 mths zero interest. Bigla ako napaiisip

pinigilan lang ako nung wife and reminded me of our upcoming expense next month

Although I am seriously contemplating to going back and buy

if it is just a rep, then consider it as an 'offer' from him, not from abenson per se. Additional discounts go through approval process from branch and if required from abenson owner. happened to me. rep got an offer. branch manager cannot accomodate, then they have to seek approval from owner. owner declined and offered lesser discount from what the rep offered =)
