Possibility of HD-DVD and Blu-Ray ROT

It might be a little too early to disscuss about this but,
I've been wondering if HD-DVD and Blu-Ray will eventually suffer
ROT?  :-\

Don't recall coming across a similar topic in other AV forums with a larger high def user base.  But I could have missed one.   ;D

Yeah, i believe it's too early. A new format is/are already here and I still have to personally experience DVD rot (been buying DVDs since 2000/2001). I wouldn't worry about this issue especially for a one-year old format :)

i'm scared kasi eh......

in my dvd collection the few affected by dvd rot are the ones manufactured by columbia pic.
