great idea here! at last, i would now have an idea what 'demo discs' are all about!

problem lang:
1. using my connection type, it takes forever to DL it

2. and i don't have a DVD burner

[proof that in my profession (teaching), noone gets rich]

so i'm now knocking on generous hearts

... i would really appreciate it if someone burns me na lang a copy of the worth-it discs ... then we can just meet and i'll just replace the discs that you used; just tell me the brand ... thank you in advance, i know this is would be quite a hassle but i have my fingers crossed

by the way, it would be icing on the cake if the meet-up place is somewhere south (like makati, pque, alabng) ... hehe demanding ba?

voj, you have to use an FTP client. Relevant links are listed in the first post.

Regarding additional copies, maybe we can adopt sebman's 3-copy chain in the SG HT demo disc thread so we can be spared the hassle of trying to download all the volumes? Just a suggestion.

I agree! Why don't we post here who's got which demo discs? And once it is complete, we can adopt sebman's distribution chain.

Here's a temporary list of all those who previously posted:

1. ledrahc - has some volumes already but not yet specified which
2. chocovim - demo disc 1 and 19
3. savagecross - discs 3 and 21
4. sebman - currently downloading kids demo disc
5. me - currently downloading disc 21 -LFE2 (but since meron na, i can opt to cancel it and download another; just started anyway)

The rest can just add their collections if they are willing to share. (The others previously posted can delete their names if it's a hassle for them to meet up... sorry for including your names).

In that case, demo disc 4 na lang ako, but our internet is a bit slow (bwisit na Smart Bro), and I can't download in the office

Count me in, but I can start download only tonight when I get home. Pero check ko muna kung ma-setup ko properly yung pc ko sa bahay, bagong setup pa lang kasi. Pag okey, I'll look at this thread and see what's available for download.

The beauty of this system is everybody can get to own the demo discs even if they don't participate in the downloading process, Just as long as they give back to 3 different people a copy of the disc they got. Parang yung movie "PAY IT FORWARD"

what happens to poor 'us' who have no DVD burners?

no way can we get a copy?

can we just either replace the disc/s used or pay the blank disc/s actual amount?

I think replacement blank discs are a fair trade considering that this is a not-for-profit exercise but I prefer the "pay it forward" model.

For every volume of a demo disc that you receive, you simply commit to passing on 3 additional copies of each volume to 3 individual PinoyDVD members.

If you don't have a burner, get in touch with a well-equipped member who's willing to help you out. Lots of generous people around here.
