Anti-SARS = "DIY Male RCA-XLR Male"

Objective: To Optimize Amplifier's Balanced Inputs ....

Options:
1. Male XLR - Female RCA
2. Male XLR - Male RCA w/ Cable

(images borrowed from the net)

* DIY of option 1- GQ female RCA not available.
* DIY of option 2- available parts; Neutrik Male XLR, Monstercable Male RCA and Kimber Braided 4TC Wires.



Impressions: Not Day & Night effect but it improved imaging and musical instruments became more distinct than SE connections.

Since, Option-1 is not possible the L/R ICs (Straightwire Rhapsody II) need to be modified.


The Replacements - Neutrik Male XLR Connectors w/ silver plated contact:


On the Operating Table (sedated):


Ready to Rock 'n Roll!
