Anybody here who owns this DVD player model?  I need your comments since I'm planning to buy one.

I'm looking for a player that is 1) cheap but durable 2) good picture quality and audio comparable to entry-level Pioneer's (I have old 533K and 366 models) 3) reads virtually all pirated DVDs.

I have older Pioneer models which fulfills requirements 1 &2 above but it has been rather frustrating recently with many pirated DVDs in the market now (gone were the good days when pirated DVDs were no different from Region 3 originals - DTS track and special features included  ;D).

I use component video cables and a coaxial digital audio connection so no need for HDMI.

i'm currently using a pioneer dv-393. never encountered any problems playing both original and bootleg discs.  ;)
