watched simpsons movie last night and upscaled the dvd to 720p and set the tv on dynamic mode







you really appreciate the color and warmth of the plasma when viewing cartoons.

yup dapat occupied buong screen. what I do is i use the screen fit function nung DVD player ko and not the zoom mode ng Plasma

is the sc pt-150 an HTIB? If yes, i suggest you get na lang 78k and save the balance until puwede ka na buy ng HT system (again suggestion lang po) 

when I started canvassing for a Plasma early this year, you might not believe but all 42" were above 100k. if only I can turn back the clock

kung all in one na home theater in a box yan, the sound quality would not be that good. better save for even a entry level home theater from either Yamaha or Onkyo (i think some would start at 20K). Try to listen to the Home Theater na naka bundle hindi buo ang tunog then compare it how even the entry level Yamaha or Onkyo sounds and you will notice a huge difference.

I'm no expert, but since the source is still a standard DVD, there is really minimal difference between the when upscaled to 720P and 1080i. You really have to look closely to notice the difference. I bet this would be a different story once we use either a HD-DVD or Blu-Ray DVD's and the player

Is this HD-DVD a good buy and match with my Plasma? I might go to the US and purchase this if its any good. Here is the model HD-A2 it retails for less than $270.

sana bumaba pa price sa atin. nakita ko ngayon dito sa bangkok central mall, 42pv70 equivalent to 65k pesos with free htib yung tall slim spkrs. made in singapore sya. yung binebenta sa atin saan made?

i think i'll wait for another month. mababa lang kc budget, 70k for the 42", and 100k for the 50".

Singapore din sir! tax paid kasi yung Pana phil dito kaya more expensive. Yung 42pv700 made in japan.

Dami daw title bluray, i tested yung the messenger sa 65 na pana malinaw din pero scary.

kamusta na 65 mo??? wala pa din hdmi na version 1.3 ang tagal na pana, tried calling bong regarding it di pa daw sure kung kailian ma release dito sa atin.

thanks sir nemesis. hanggang tingin lang ako dito sa bangkok dahil di pwede dalhin sa sobrang laki. hintay nalang me na bumaba ng konti ang presyo. sulit pa rin ang price mo dahil may warranty.

i'm moving into a new place and I have 2 options for cable tv sky with digibox daw and dream, which will give me better resolution? Although my plasma will be primarily used for movies, I will still hook it up to cable.

go with the sky digital, more channels to choose from...i have both cable and dream satellite in my house and naiinis ako sa dream lalo na pag rainy season.
