Samsung BD-P1200 or Panasonic DMP-BD10A?
« on: Jul 31, 2007 at 06:08 PM »
I guess I will have to buy a standalone blu-ray player since I am not a fan of computer games.. Which is better, Samsung BD-P1200 or the Panasonic DMP-BD10A?  Anybody with first hand feedbacks regarding these units?  Got a friend going to the US this coming August and he agreed to buy a player for me so I'll get it cheaper than buying it here.  ;D ;D ;D

I heard that the Samsung BD-P1200 is a pretty good Blu-ray player, and a top of the line DVD upconverter too!
The war is over...  Now bring on the classics on HD!

I've decided to wait it out till next year and wait for players with the so-called "Final Standard Profile" for Blu-ray which will come into force on Thursday 1 November, rendering older machines obsolete.
