Planning to head to Sights & Sounds this week for some Panasonic 42X30's. I checked at a local department store, but the lowest price they would sell it at was P27,500. They said they checked with Panasonic, and Sights & Sounds wasn't an authorized Panasonic dealer, so they wouldn't be able to offer a Panasonic warranty.

Is that true? Would there be any issues with warranty service if I take it to the local Panasonic authorized service center? Or would I have to drive to Manila to get it serviced at Sights & Sounds?

Please pm me your prices for Samsung 40" to 47" LED/LCD/Plasma tvs. Pati na rin sa Toshiba. Basta within those size ranges. 3D capable TVs can also be considered.

Our TH-P42X30 is a parallel import, which we covered it with in-house warranty. If you stay somewhere near Manila, we can do the service of pull out the TV for repair and deliver back to you when unit is fixed. However, if you stay far from our shop, we suggest you get the unit with Panasonic warranty to avoid hassle of availing in-house warranty. By the way, we also have unit with Panasonic Phil. warranty TH-P42X30 at P27K.
