Our TH-P42X30 is a parallel import, which we covered it with in-house warranty. If you stay somewhere near Manila, we can do the service of pull out the TV for repair and deliver back to you when unit is fixed. However, if you stay far from our shop, we suggest you get the unit with Panasonic warranty to avoid hassle of availing in-house warranty. By the way, we also have unit with Panasonic Phil. warranty TH-P42X30 at P27K. 

So spec-wise, there is no difference bet. the parallel import and panasonic phil units other than one is officially distributed and the other is a gray market?
