E65 is an old model. E22 succeeded the E65, and now is the current model. E22 is P15200. Specs for this E22: D-LED HD ready TV, slim design, 2 X USB movie, 3 X HDMI, with free wall bracket.

D-LED is the new Skyworth technology where several LEDs are placed behind the middle of the screen. To enable the LEDs to project the entire screen in uniformity, the LEDs are placed at a distance which makes the cabinet a bit bulkier. The advantage is that the D-LED (depth LED) provides more control of the brightness and darkness for the entire screen areas.

Got my Sharp 60LE630M today.
Tested it watching the Ateneo-LaSalle game, but picture was really bad out of the box.
After calibrating though (way off middle), color and contrast are superb.
Sound is also good for such a thin TV (unlike LG), but stereo imaging is poor.
Oh, and the remote is terrible for such a large screen LCD.
Design and layout is like a cheap toy made to operate an old CRT TV.
Still, its quite a good deal for a simple large screen TV without all the bells and whistles.
Thanks for the help Sir Vic, and props to Jhon-Jhon for the assist.

EDIT:
I found the culprit of the poor stereo imaging.
The right speaker of the TV isn't working, hence everything is in mono (left only).
Tried switching inputs and adjusting balance, but there really isn't any sound.
Sir Vic, hope you can have this unit replaced soon.

Hi Sir, I bought a 32in Samsung yesterday. Kaso malabo ang reception ng local channels. Pero sa lumang tv ok nman. May way ba para ma improve ang display pag local channel o kailangan pa ng signal booster? available ba? Pag sa movies, the best ang picture quality nman. Thanks.

Onkyo has no built in Bu-ray player. You need a buy a separate player.

Onkyo 717 is still not released locally. We have instead Onkyo 818 at p55500. and 616 at P33500.
