LA40N81 is a last year model TV. It has 1 year guaranty.

I presume you are asking separates system like a package of 5.1 speaker system, a reciever, and a dvd player.

Hi sir Vic,

Can you pm me your cash and card prices for a plasma or LCD tv in the 40 or 42inch range? Any recommendations? This will primarily be used for normal TV but also for playing PS3 games.

I'm particularly interested in the panasonic, samsung, LG or Sony brands.

It was certainly a blast revisiting those still "uk made" speakers that you have - ang galing!

We don't sell Oppo player. I don't think Oppo has any distributor here. Perhaps, you may wish to avail other brand. A good brand in the market is Pioneer. Pioneer DVD player can upscale 1080p also.

Distributor told us that his shipment includes PP3. The goods are arriving end of the month.

The Wharfedale 9.3 is not an all rounder speaker. It lacks clarity in music. Its sibling, the 9.1, is a better than 9.3. The 9.1-2 way high-mid and low bass speakers is very much timbre balance that delivers music and movie pleasing to the ears. People described this small speaker as forward, immediate, incisive, vivid, aggressive, and present for movie yet it also delivers rich, warm, full, and punchy music. The 9.3 has aggressive bass that somehow squash or crush the high and mid sounds. In effect, it delivers boomy bass. The overall sounds muddy and blurred.

Hope my suggestions and opinions help.

We don't have CHT10R available. If your room is small, and since you're just using a 9.1 bookshelf as your front, maybe you can just avail of Velodyne VX10 at P14400. It can perform and complement well with your 9.1. Another good sub is a Polk Audio PSW110 at P12K.

I made a research and found Altec Lansing 619-8A to be a duplex ceiling mount speakers. These speakers are for industrial application like installation for auditorium, church, etc.

Of course, you can use these speakers for HT surround initially. However, after a while, you really have to replace them for a pair that will be timbre matched with other speakers.

First of all, you need to determine the size of speakers to complement the size of your room. If you have a small room, you may opt for this bookshelf package: Mission front MV-4 at P7700. and Mission center MV-C at P6700.

If you wish to have more dynamic presence in music and movie, you may opt for a floor-standing front like MV-6 at P12,300.

Mission delivers warm sounds. It will complement well with Pioneer receiver that delivers bright or forward-sounding.
