Just an unsolicited observation Master A, but that PMPO info in your latest speaker line has me cringing. Imo that just might do more harm than good. Parang mas apt siya pag forums like sulit,etc.

Pang masa kasi yung Bluetooth speaker kaya mas malaki text ng PMPO compare sa RMS sa poster. Naka post din kasi sa Sulit at Facebook. Bluetooth speaker kasi namin mass production na 100-300units per run sa machine, kaya Mga masa ang Target na market but Quality Sound.

Totally agree with diy_master. The faster you are understood the better.

As an advertising creative person I've had my aversion to such starburst and bubble violators. It was our worst creative nightmare. But I soon realized the clutter of information out there and the difference in the "masa" mindset. As ugly as these retail ads are, they work. Specially when you have 1-2 seconds to fight for attention.

I bought the Philippians bookshelves yesterday and they work pretty well with my cheapo Lepai 2020 amp. My initial impression on another thread (7th post):

With my budget, I was torn between the Philippians and the Wharfedale 10.1/10.2. I heard the 10.1 at Listening Room and was quite impressed with the booming bass and the "kalansing" of the tweeters. But physically i found them very puny. They sounded great but I had to listen to Philippians to make a rational decision. I met up with Jose in Makati (his number is posted at http://www.pinoydvd.com/index.php/topic,188601.0.html). A cool and genuinely nice guy, he won't do hard sell and just let product do the talking.

I had with me U2, Franco and Slapshock CDs. U2 because I love the music of the 80s. Franco and Slapshock because they sounded harsh on my home setup and car stereo. I wanted to punish the Philippians. Hehe. U2 would probably sound good on any system and the Philippians did not disappoint. But Franco, I don't remember which tracks anymore since I was pressed for time, there were details which I heard for the first time like (1) the ride cymbal intro in one of the songs (2) the panning of vocals or was it guitars? Vocals were clear and stood out. Slapshock on the other hand, as I mentioned in my other post, was musical.

But I wasn't sold just yet. The Philippians is good but somehow I missed the booming bass and the bright cymbals. That's how I listened to music since I was in Grade 7. Gusto ko bumamayo ang bass. Maximum bass, high and almost full treble. I'm mid-range deaf. I wasn't sold just yet and wanted to listen to the Wharfedales once more. Jose obliged and plugged in the Wharfes. In less than a minute I was sold on the Philippians. Hehe.

It's really a matter of taste and I'm not an audiophile. I just listen to music that I like. But the Philippians will not overwhelm you with bass and treble. Bass and treble is what will leave a mental imprint. This is what some speaker manufacturers will capitalize on. Philippians will tend to underwhelm ones' senses. Vocals are clear, some instrument will jump out of the speakers. Subtle effects can be heard. It will lull you into thinking that everything is so relaxed and ... underwhelming. But side by side with the other brand, it shines. Take it home and it will change your perspective on how you listen to music. The booming bass is not booming after all but ngongo.

Take time to place them in the room properly. Image, focus, and tonal balance can be tuned this way. Since they were made by A-Audio, I'd place their tonal balance in what is probably audiophile correct. Congrats bro.

Hello masters! bago lang po ako dito pero nagbabasa-basa na din po lately

Got my Voca speakers yesterday!

Wow Bilib! We went to raon after makuha namin yung voca speakers and to tell you honestly when we tested it sa isang store para sa AMP and Karaoke machine, nagulat sila!

Sabi pa ni ateng tindera "Bose ba to?" -"ay local made po yan isang Pinoy inventor" Nakakaproud na pinuri nila yung speakers sabi nila nabigay daw ng speakers yung tunog talaga ng karaoke machine (pero parang dapat pinaganda ng speaker yung tunog ng K-machine?!) hahahha pero on the side nalulungkot ako na dapat yung local made like A-Audio ang na ka-front sa market nila e

But anyway im Happy po! Super Combo yung karaoke system haha parang ayaw ko na ngang gawing pang KTV

)

PS: We tested also the Bluetooth speaker, and lahat kami ay "shet seriously? jan galing yung sound?"

)

Question sir Anthony- May speaker po ba kayo for Monitor purposes? Yung flat po? Pang audio/video editing? Im currently using Marshall monitor headphones pero gusto po magkaroon ng Speakers for sit in clients

Happened to me also and indeed the vacuum cleaner trick worked. You just need balls of steel for the initial trial.

Right now sir, wala pa pong monitor speaker, iba kasi timpla ng Mga monitor speaker. May nagawa ako pero Sabi ng friend ko na si MR. Saturno, kulang pa daw dapat daw mas maganda sa regular branded monitors. I post nalang dito sir sa thread ones may monitor speaker na kami.
