Topic: Very low sound upon playing 1080p movies

I'm newbie here.I'm having a problem.
When I'm trying to play 1080p movies on my LG led tv (1080p full hd), the audio is very low and i need to hit up the volume maybe until 60. im using the built in speaker not a 2.1 or 5.1 speaker. But when the same file is played on my desktop with 5.1 speaker, the audio is normal.

Masmalaki, may sub, masmadami and masmalakas most likely ang speakers mo sa desktop vs. 2 small speakers ng TV sir.

this could be the result when the tv player is downmixing the audio to its native format. it's a common limitation of the built-in tv players.

Pwede din. Or ang layo kasi ng comparison ng speakers, 5.1 PC speaker vs stock TV speakers.

Most likely downmixing. I experience that playing same files on different Mac players.

salamat sa input guys! siguro kailangan nga ng home theater to maximize the sound quality ng movie. saan ba okey mag purchase ng home theater and anong brand ang maganda?

Alam ko dati meron sa cdr-king pero don't know yung quality nung sound ng mga nito.

or you can try first on using standalone media players to play the files.

Try plugging your 5.1 PC speakers sa TV mo via heaphone output, see if it would improve.

i already tried my ipod speaker and it worked fine. yung 5.1 ko for PC  not sure kung pwede kasi 3 yung connections nya color yellow, black and green eh di ba yung connection ng headphone jack isa lang?

Do not use headphone jack ng tv. Those are for higher impedance earphones (16-32ohms). They work for iPod speakers because those are matched for headphone jacks. Try to find the proper audio output rcas. See your tvs connectivity options so you can buy the correct speakers.

What's the make and model of your TV sir? There might be other members, with the same TV as yours, who have experienced and resolved the same issue you're having.
