well after months of sitting on the TV, i've finally openned my band of brothers' dvd, and i'm so glad i did. :)
the video quality was awsome and hearing the battle in gloriuos DTS was surely a treat, this must be one of the best dvd's to come out in 2002 8)

as for my other unoppened dvd's, i still have evil dead, book of the dead ver. and akira limited tin can ed.
i doubt if i would ever open this dvd's since i have other versions of these dvd's thats already been opened.

Hey bently, I'm one of the very few who have never seen this one before. Is this really good? If this is anything close to "Saving Private Ryan", then I'll buy it.

Kating-kati na kasi akong bumili nang DVD. I was just at Best Buy last night pero wala akong nagustuhan. I just need to get a new one to relieve my dvd itch, but I don't wanna waste my money on just anything.

go ahead and get it! you won't regret it!

i believe the story is a lot better than saving private ryan. the mini series brings you to the true story of e-z company from the start of WW2 all the way to the fall of hitler...the characters are very well developed, i think this is the most big budget movie series ever produced for a tv. with speilberg and tom hanks at the helm, i'm sure nothing was cut short...and it just shows on the video and audio quality of the dvd.

i also like the extra feature where they gathered all the true to life survivors of e-z company flew them over to europe and had them relive and tell their story. it really adds realism to the movie.

this has to be one of the best packaging. i even have it displayed near my tv! :) so bili ka na...! ;)
